Not really planning on making the whole thing because finals are coming up, but I've seen numerous mentions of Kain from FFIV needing to be made into a sprite.
I got the armor colors from the second black mage palette.

As for Kain, im aiming at the new purple-ish look, a varint of it will be the old blue one.

Whoa! Kain buffed up a bit! As much as I love the boots on the normal lancer, I'll have to go with version 5, since it's much more truthful to his look. Kain is probably one of the most complicated FF characters, definitely ranks high in my favorite characters. Keep it up!

Definitely awesome. Like LastingDawn said though he looks particularly buff and I'm wondering if he needs to be a pixel taller. Other than that I think everything will look good with a new palette.

Once you changed the arms, they started looking a bit scrunched, but other than that, it is a very awesome Dragoon. I wouldn't hesitate in replacing the normal Dragoon sprite with that if there was a replacement for each palette.

The only thing I don't get about paladin cecil is that his eyes are completely invisible,

also kain at least in my opinion is second only to cloud, cloud takes the cake for my all time favorite im glad that FFT was smart enough to include him anyways but the advent children looks much MUCH better

My only real complain on Kain is that his feet kinda weird me out. His outward foot (of course, it changes sides when he turns, so I'm not sure what you would call it) is pointed almost straight down. It just doesn't look quite right to me. Maybe like he is on his tip-toes.

Yeah I think the palette might need a little reworking, but overall it looks great. It is just hard to represent such a lean figure in FFT style, but it will all work out fine. The Stormtrooper is freaking hilarious btw.

Not necessarily. Asmo has done some work on it since the last update to it for Mercenaries. It will be based off of Smash's design rather than actually being Smash's work, but Asmo knows what he is doing so it should turn out looking quite well.
