Use a program called pops loader

It emulates the older firmwares.

For some reason the psx games run better on older firmware

if your not running the firmware tahts compatible with ff9, google popsloader.

Yeah I already did. FFT 1.3(PSX) is running perfectly for me. So I doubt pop's is the reason.

The pop doesn't have a version, all I know is that it's called Popstation GUI. The games working on the computer, so there's nothing wrong with the ISO.

INCORRECT

POPSTATION Gui is what you use to convert psx games to .eboot format.

Popsloader emulates older firmware versions in order to run the game better.

Go search for pops and have a look at the readme file, I was having similar problems until I enabled POPS.

If you can't take a gentle ribbing, you don't belong on the internet.
