Some movies have ruined the entire Medival era for me.

I suppose I could, but I would have to clear it with the LARP officers or something... I think I'd rather just be a Fighter. Does anyone have ANY idea where I could probably get something that could resemble armor? like where I could get chain mail? =P I need somethign to add to my armor points, and I don't think a cloak would cut it.

Fine, LARPING is NOT FUN unless you have friends, and even there, your first time may sucks too.
Bring a low-budget sword and armor... well just add me on msn or something, il show you my LARPing gear i got in 2 year, its no big deal, and i am a Archer/Alchemist (not the gay anime alchemist, potion alchemist. The bow costed me 150 (but its a REAL bow, that shoots far, im only allowed to use it because i am mature and good and won't shoot in the eye
) the sword, i got it from my friend, costed him 90$, you can make one for 5$, and then the armor. I made a cheap one at home that was good, but then i bought a real one, a good leather armor, for 120$, was not worth it really, i could have way more higher quality.

somewhat, but that's just battle. and role playing is more then just battle. In a sense, you are creating a story with other people.
