Seriously, I wanna know.
To be clear, I'm not just talking about his personality, I'm talking about his AI. Seriously.
I just started playing the hacked version of FFT again, and I restarted. I've made it up to the fight where you save Algus, and so far, I've had to reset twice. In the first match, we could have won had Algus not been a complete retard and tried to revive and heal my characters when he could just kill the enemies and end the battle.
Second time, he moved into the middle of the battlefield on his first turn, and became a perfect target for the enemy and their bowguns.
Seriously, isn't there an option that will let me keep fighting even if he dies? Do I have to pick the other dialogue choice?
correct
it only resets upon his death if you choose to save him
I think I'll actually try that this time.
Now I've done it three times. Third turned out the same as the Second(the way it played out).
Choosing not to save him gives a boost in brave to your party. It's actually the "correct" choice, as Ramza is a duty-bound cadet at that point.
