Title: Portraits in UNIT.BIN
Post by: Lydyn on November 01, 2008, 09:06:49 pm
I've searched the forums and couldn't find this out. I replaced Dancers/Bards with Ninjas, however the portrait is staying as a Dancer/Bard. Is there any way to change this?

The Portraits are in the SPR files, so if you need to replace their portraits and fix the palette and then re-import it. ;)

... I did, Aura ... *Sigh* I'm telling you, I replaced it all, the portrait and all, but it's not appearing in the world formation screen (though the sprite is perfect).

Easy to figure out? Well, I must be dumb then ... I can get to where I'm opening WRLDFACE.BIN but I can't make heads or tails out of the rest.

lets see, one of the buttons prompts you to save a file, thats the export, the button below that same one shoudl be for exporting the palette.

the other button is for importing, and the one below that is import palette.

and there is a fifth button under the displayed picture to the right, that button saves the unit.bin or world.bin whichever you're working on.

yes after you have the buttons down just remember to edit and save both the unit.bin and world.bin and your chracters should look fine in the formation screen as long as you did it right
