We don't know how to currently alter/manipulate R/S/M directly yet?

The FFH community figured out how to edit values for the abilities, so yes, it could one day be possible.

I'm not sure if anyone has experimented with this, but it might be possible now, but it'd require basiclly removing the entire Geomancer class. Basicly, if you replace every single elemental ability and make it so they all do the same thing, then that might change the action done by Counter Flood.

I'm currently expirimenting with trying to get Counter Magic to trigger on normal physical attacks, as well as on Counter-Magic flagged skills. If I can get it to work, i'll stick it as an innate reaction for the mime as Counter Mimic or something.

Directly modifying S/R/M skills requires ASM magic. =)

the only way to get counter magic to trigger from a normal attack is to set the skill above Potion in the patcher to acknowledge counter magic; this would make the spell counter with an attack though; counter magic needs a spell to copy you know...

@BeoulveBlack
no, it's not that simple, flagging the attack skill to trigger counter magic does nothing. This is because of the way the attack command works, it doesn't count as a skill, and therefore counter magic can't copy it. However, when you change the attack command to work as a skill, it has no effect (no damage, 00% hit chance), and therfore also cannot be copied. If anyone can figure out a way to make a working skill that otherwise is completely identical to the attack command (this includes using the proper animations and formulas for your stats and equiped weapons), i'd love to hear how you did it.
