Title: Is there a way to build a team from scratch to fight friends, non AI battles?
Post by: ThirstyWench on February 23, 2017, 06:03:33 pm
I'm looking for a hack that makes FFT almost pokemon showdown esc.

I just want to be able to build my team, put them at max level, and fight people who have done the same thing. All I can find is AI controlled battle arena, but I won't to be able to control the units.

Is there anything like this?

There is no non-AI controlled multi-player version of FFT available. FFT Arena (which is the AI battles) is quite fun and can be quite in depth in terms of strategy. We have quite a good community of Arena players here, so I would recommend you to at least try it out for your self.

You're looking for the PSP version of War of the Lions.

Is there a hack to turn WotL into what I'm asking? I have WotL as well as original FFT.

Throw some cheats at it and it's exactly what you're after.

Oh awesome! So I and a buddy would be able to just whip up a max level team and fight each other on the fly with the right hacks?

Isn't this debug mode (http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=10151.0) option 7? After selecting a map, it lets you select four units as the "enemy" and four units as the "player", and all units are controllable.

You need to get (e.g. hack, or use debug mode to manually input) both teams into the same save file.
