Oh my! You and your wife are such beautiful people! I always imagined you looked something like your avatar (as I imagine everyone, nearly...) but you are even more handsome then that! You both seem more then incredibly happy, so I take it all the before drama and the infighting got settled before the actual wedding commenced? Well congratulations! Thanks guys! Those were very nice comments, Lasting Dawn. Apparently, over on the GF board, their had been some confusion about my looks. Tiger/alakran always imagined me to look more like YOUR avatar! Heh heh heh..
There had been quite a bit of drama and fighting beforehand, but my three brothers (especially the blondish one, my best man) really went all out to keep us sane and focused on the more important issues. In fact, some of those pics towards the center-right, where I'm with each of my brothers and we generally look contemplative or sombre.. Those are some of my absolute favorites, because they reveal the whole story of the wedding weekend, rather than just the wedding itself. In a nutshell, I'm lucky to have such great men as my siblings.
Cheetah, I'm sure you're referring to the WHOLE 1500 picture set, right? You're the only online friend I've given access to that. Mainly, that's because there are so many multiples, blurries, nonsense-shots and unflattering "zombie" shots that I didn't want to share them with everyone. However, since you and your fiancee have your own wedding coming up, I figured you two would appreciate seeing the whole spectrum.
Kaze, I'm actually REALLY glad you complimented her ring! We spent TWO YEARS searching in 7 different countries just to find the ring she wanted! Neither of us like diamonds, and she had once seen an antique, art nouveau, "mistletoe" designed opal ring on a jewelry artists' website. It was one-of-a-kind, and it was sold (for a good million or so, actually). So we were on a mission to find something like that the entire time we were engaged. We couldn't find anything anywhere. Even in Paris, where Art Nouveau was INVENTED!! We finally had to give up searching, and we ended up putting up a lot of money to have it custom made.
So it pleases us both greatly to receive a compliment on it. Thank you!

We celebrated by having our time-off requests denied at work and my license reinstatement pushed back another week. So our initial plan of spending the whole weekend in the mountain house, and truly ENJOYING time away from our temporary roommates, failed. However, we made the best of it and went out to a few restaurants here and there, went on long walks to vent all our frustrations about having too many people in our house and we purchased the materials for making a scrapbook devoted all of our deviant exploits. We even added a few to our list!
Our sexual depravity will endure for all time. That's the magic of scrapbooking.
