Wondering if anybody has the skills to make a good hack for FFTA? It needs to be hack ASAP because it fails EPICALLY! The AI should be smart as fuck! Laws can stay probably unless you can like remove them if possible.
Some job classes are tampered. Montblanc can be useful now. Clan battles are tougher. Encounter teams with good R/S abilities like Reflex/Strikeback/Concentrate.
Learn some skills late like Double Sword cost 2000.
only thing i liked about that game more than i like about FFT is the new classes, everything else is just shit, only hacks i know for gba games come in the form of game shark codes though unless you want to experiment with memory editing, in which case good luck because i have no idea where to start
I guess I will try using a Hex Editor maybe. Thanks for the advice.
Your sig is w1n! But I want Obama to win though.
i tried memory editing for a game once, if your using an emulator like VBA than it already has a memory viewer built in that lets you edit so you dont need to worry about downloading one, i believe its under tools > memory viewer, but like i said for FFTA i have no idea where to start, you'll need to find out what address is what so you're gonna have one hell of a time figuring that out and than what each of the values means, i recommend you try googling a guide by somone who has already done it
i dont like either candidate but i want obama to win to
EDIT:
did some searching around
No Laws In Battle
42003C34 0000
00000003 0002
only useful thing i found that could be considered not a cheat
hmmm i liked it but it was like a whole new tactical rpg and is not in the same league as fft and honestly should not be allowed a name similar to fft

i agree, i also dont like how they made it pg 13, only one cuss word through out the entire game and its 'damn' -_-
i think it was the fanstasy violence that got it there and probably mild language which usually makes a movie a pg but for some reason in a game you cant curse to kids
I think it definitely belongs under the Final Fantasy Tactics title.
It is Final Fantasy.
It is a tactical RPG.
And, despite its several flaws, it is a portable FFT.
Yeah, but it doesn't have the same feel as FFT, even when you level up your guy just jumped up and down in FFT but now in FFTA they spin around and jump. I somehow felt that the tactics system was nerfed or something cause I wasn't feeling it the whole time I played. :)
Then call it FFTANSG
The Ivalice in Tactics Advance more or less set the stage for FFXII, therefore I think it rightfully deserves the name of "Tactics". Mewt's "dream world" brings up a very interesting question... he says he played the game "Final Fantasy", fair enough and easy to dismiss, but it has been confirmed that in the timeline St. Ivalice is the last. Is it possible that the Grimoire dredged up ancient memories from the earth and recreated things as they once were? Believing it would be a land which Mewt would enjoy? We know in the space of a day Bangaa, Viera, Moogles and Nu Mou that were once normal people suddenly appeared, and Mewt's father ruled the land from his seat at the palace. Also there is the matter of Montblanc (Leader of Clan Centurio, probably well remembered for a time in histories annals) who joins Marche just as his adventure begins. Was it ever proven that Montblanc wasn't anything more then the Grimoire's creation in that? Of all the characters (except generics) he's the only special character (besides Marche) who can actually Die at the Jagds, which in my opinion leads to his ethereal existence as a denizen *only* of Ivalice. Also there are the five "Ancient Heroes" for each race, if memory serves right, which each one comes with their corresponding Ultima attack.
Then there are of course the "Lucavi" those that held the world together, Ultima, Addramelech, Mateus, Famfrit, and Exodus. An interesting tie back to Tactics if nothing else.
FFTANSG?
i really really enjoyed making an almost all bangaa team, i had marche as a paladin/white mage, one human as a black/white mage, two bangaa as templar/priest(think the name was priest) and two bangaa as dragoon/defender, i liked how with a spear you could hit two enemies at the same time instead of the closest one taking the hit, and i liked the music sort of, but i missed how they took out charge time, how they took out 3 turn=crystalize/drop item, and i think most of all, i hated that dam *kupo* noise, every time i heard it i died a little inside, also hate how the main antagonist of the story was a pussy

NSG= not so good but i meant NAG for not as good
Actually, I read a pretty interesting analysis on Tactics Advance which paints Marche as the only official "Villian" or at least highly self centered main character of Final Fantasy.

That's an amazing analysis
@Jacob
Were you under the impression that Ramza wasn't a pussy? He starts out as the absolutely most sheltered FF hero EVER.
Except Boco.
@LD i never saw that review but thats kinda the way i view marche cause he is going against everything that makes his friends lives better just so he can be happy
