The writings look in English although they are hard to decipher.

Well Zodiac, Dominic, Voldemort, Methanol and a few others pondered over it for a few hours and we completely deciphered it. All of it is, believe it of not, all in English it must be extremely archaic English... I'll start from the perimeter and go on from there.

QuoteTop Left Corner : Saramander
Top Right Corner: Gnomes
Bottom Right Corner: Fairy
Bottom Left Corner: Undines
(Mana Series much...?)

Inside Circle
Top Middle: Belias (It's official...)
Top Right: Adramecl (Adramelk)
Bottom Right: Cuclrain (Queklain)
Bottom Middle: Ultima
Bottom Left: Laslmarrim (Hashmalum)
Top Left: Zallera

Inner Circle: (Very crude signs of each of the Lucavi)
Under Belias: Taurus (sort of)
Under Adramecl ("Capricorn"?)
Under Cuclrain (Um... doesn't look Scorpio)
Under Ultima (It looks like Virgo, but without the loop it looks to similar to Scorpio)
Under Laslmarrim (a slight Leo symbol)
Under Zalera (Squiggly line, nothing like Gemini)

Inner Circle 2
Going Clockwise...

Aries
Pisces
Aquarius
Capricorn
Sagittarius?
Scorpio
Libra
Virgo
Leo
Cancer
Gemini?
Taurus

And finally...

Inside the circle says "the nouth ster" (The North Star)

Well it was quite exciting! But unfortunately not much new, except the Mana series spirits have a measure of control over Ivalice...?

The Mana Series spirits represented here are probably intended as a prototype phase of what eventually became the Occuria, as they are shown to be outside the circle of the Lucavi, which were made and subsequently put down by the Occuria.

could the inside the circle text of north star refer to the direction the teleporter takes you to?

ie murond?

murond is north of everyone? (above)????

Not quite, in fact the map has Murond Death City south of Orbonne Monastery, so it's probably in reference to the "Guiding Star", which is normally the North Star, in the middle.

I wonder how Murond (now Mullonde) would look if Tactics' story was put with XII's engine...
That would be the ultimate fangame.

Haha! A mod of FFXII to be like FFT's story? Well... there would only be six main characters, but that interesting ally system that XII has could be used for generics. Ramza, Agrias, Mustadio, Rafa, Malak, Orlandu, they would probably be the six main characters you could "raise" but using the Zodiac International Job System could work, to make each of them unique. Murond was a very interesting locale to begin with, though I think they probably would make a final fight with Rofel alone in the entrance to Murond Death City (that place is just too cool to not have a fight.)

Yeah. Guests would include Gaffgarion, Delita, and possibly CLOUD!

I suppose Mullonde would look similar to Nabudis, with the water and stuff everywhere. Also, lots of Mist.
