as you can see in the picture
to make this final change in GraphicsGale
and upload it to shishi
section below image is distorted
as I can prevent this from happening?

I just ran into this problem too. for me it was because the portrait shared colors with the sprite, so check the palette and see if the colors correspond to the sprite and portrait correctly

Hello,

If you have a look at this link, http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=6702.0 (Celdia is a genius!) it will go through everything that you need to make sure that you don't have that problem.
This is the way, I learnt and have found it be highly useful
