Title: Editing problems
Post by: Browning on December 30, 2013, 10:19:37 pm
hi guys, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I connect to announce that I have a big problem, I've been trying to create characters like Sprites and Portraits through Photoshop but I not been running. a friend recommended me to use editing programs but do not know what they are, excuse my ignorance and abuse but could you tell me please what are the programs that facilitate editing me?

is that I prefer to first create the characters and then edit the classes, history and facet or game streak.

Thanks and excuse my abuse.

For editing sprites and portraits, ShiShi (included in FFTPatcher Suite (http://ffhacktics.com/downloads.php?id=29)) will get you started. You want to export the desired sprite sheet as BMP and work from that. Each sheet must use only 16 colors, and must include black (which the game interprets as transparent).

There are tutorials (http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=6617.0) for spriting (http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=6702.0) available in the Tutorials and Learning (http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?board=43.0) subforum, and a good index of tutorials (http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=9204.0) there, as well.

If photoshop isn't working, graphicsgale could be an alternate program to use. It can do most things that you need, but it's a little tougher to work with in some respects. There may be a download link in one of celdia's tutorial pages (can't remember) or a google search will probably bring you to it.
