On this day FFHACKTICS had the most users ever online.  However the reason for this seems elusive.  I initially went to the Arena area to see if there was some sort of tournament but there wasn't.  So I looked elsewhere and nothing seems to stand out.  Does anyone know what mysterious even took place on March 7 2012 to cause so many users to be online here at Hacktics?

My instinct was to check IRC logs, but I forgot that I have no logs at all from about May 2011 to March 2013. Derp.

I would have still been working over 9 hours a day and not paying a tremendous amount of attention to chat (and pretty much zero attention to the forum), so my guesses aren't the best. However, the WotL slowdown patch was released on March 1st of 2012, so it could have been a swell from that news.

It was being discussed on chat as it was happening. Probably someone linked us in 4chan or something.

My memory fails me.
Now everyone sit down, relax and have a good damned cup of tea.
Then go out into the forest and see the stars.

Then come back and realize it's pointless to be so worked up over what's meant to be our hobby.

I think the slowdown fix being the cause is the most likely scenario
