Getting rid of cutscene movies in psp version

I use a psp version of the game and I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the movie cutscenes and replace them with the "normal event scenes" as in the psx version. For example, I want to replace the psp movie scene of Delita kidnapping ovelia with the one from the psx where you get to see the actual sprites do the actions.

Well take a look at the FFT: Complete project, that basically recreates the scenes that were cutscenes in WOTL. I believe this is totally possible because I think the activation of the movies is event driven. So if you took the relevant events from FFT:C's TEST.EVT and replaced the corresponding ones in the PSP's TEST.EVT it should work perfectly.
