Why can not I put some spells or abilities into a certain Class? I tried to make a Magician with several spells, but only 4 of them became available for use, even buying all for JP ... I would like to use other spells and abilities to create classes a little different from the standard, how do I? Thx
For the PSX version, you can't change the skillset ID of a generic job. You have to edit the skillset they already have. Otherwise the game tries to read 'learnt ability' flags based on Job JP amounts and such; i.e. memory overflow.
And how do I edit the PsP version? My CDmage does not open it for me to get the sprites of the characters
Could you at least lead me to some tutorial that can teach me the basics of how to create my "Own" game? I love this game since I was a child and I am very happy to be able to modify it in a way that I have more fun playing ... I do not want to recreate maps and history, just create or modify the characters and skill in my own way, if possible , I'll be very grateful
Well, there's the http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=9204.0 (http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=9204.0)
If you want more of a "Make my own game" tutorial, you could write it yourself as you learn so that those in the future who are just like you wishing there was such a thing have access to it.
And I'm not very familiar with WotL, I heard changing the skillset of generic jobs on that version wasn't an issue. Maybe I was misinformed.
That's right! Thank you very much for the help of all in the forum, it's that I'm Brazilian, my English is not very good, so I'm having to turn around most of the time to figure out how to do it ... But I'm already happy to find this site and to be able to perform the minimum of desire that I had to be able to play an FFT of my style. Thank you very much and good night (for you it is already day in your Country haha)
Well, English isn't my first language either; it's French. Just gotta keep at it and focus on improving, that's what's important.
And... where did you assume I lived? Because your post time is 11pm for me. Not exactly daytime.
Well, I figured it was a very distinct time zone, but it's a few hours difference then
