sprites for umd version of fft

i have the umd version of fft and i was wondering if there was a way i can edit the characters in game to have different clothes. i seen ppl doing different sprites but so far i  can only find editing with iso's and not the actual umd game, can someone help me out with this and how to do it? i would really love to have a toon on my game like zack. also im using lioneditor and i was wondering if there was a way to make sprites on the game.. im not atm trying to go "all out" and have all the awesome attacks i have seen on videos just sprites.. nething helps and thanks
