@Roly - Yes, his hair is dark blue. Even darker that their ninja shirt. Look properly especially under sunlight and you'll see dark blue.

@Kage - Ah, yes, Elidibs. Totally forgotten that. Haha.

@scatt - That looks better but change his hair colour to dark blue.

Congrats on getting this forum guys--you've done well for yourselves. That sprite looks pretty solid; great work.

Asuma (or whatever the name of that bearded, dark-skinned guy is) needs work though. Lighten the blue on the headband, darken the darker colors on the vest (just use the colors from the hair), and work heavily on the beard. Use Zozma's beard and if you lighten the skin, it should look fine...theoretically.

i just remember what black would work well for the hair... either the funeral people portrait or bermondt dragon form would be good. their black have a bluish tint to it...

Honestly, I would go with a more brownish-black hair color. That way you may be able to double dip with hair color and skin tone. It's tough though: black-haired characters are a rarity in FFT, most likely due to keeping within the confines of the color limitations.

y tried to do a portrait for the orochimarus summong Manda it has less than 16 colors (i think) so i can still work on it for more shading since Mnada is a monster it dont have to fit with the normal pose of the portraits

If you would remove Elidibs(Lucavi) from all frames, and left snake, few custom works and the snake would be done!

Wow not bad for manda. . . I think I would like it though if Orochimaru was replaced with Elidibs and have him in his white snake form. . . but oh well we still need a manda. . . very crucial in the death of Deidara. . .

*tested a four hair color type and removed a single blue shade and the darkest Grey. this means that it will be possible to use this base for others. . . vest color changes depends on hair. . . if blond then vest will have to be redone this way if darker colors the green can be kept because of the black used in the Vest outline

Oh yeah. . . any Idea for attack anim arms? Mustadio's seems to be the perfect size and is skinny which is good. . . any other suggestions? it is so hard to do arms from scratch the walking took me weeks and I dnt want the same situation for the attack.

Ouch, without the green for the vest, it looks funny. So far, so good for Kakashi.
Attack arms....Hmm....not really sure. If Mustadio arms are perfect, then go for it.
As for the hair, what did you changed?

I switched what u did. . . but did not change anything for what u did was masterful. . . not obvious in sprite up there but obvious in Shishi. . . here. . . its your hair with animations switched (check the sample). . .

* I agree without the green it looks like a military ops in the Desert.

**also I redid the vest so my shading myt be off like my first attempt way back. . . it is because we missed a portion of the vest. . .
