Add Bikke (from Final Fantasy I) to the list. And Smash's Bangaa, Paladin Cecil, Lamya, Wyvern, and basically everything else he's started. To be fair though, Smash works at a completely different pace than everyone else, so maybe his sprites aren't technically abandoned.
Oh and I think we could finish the Dart sprite--the portrait is completely done and the sprite just needs a few revisions; the major poses are done, from what I recall.

I do agree that a vast majority of Smash's projects are likely never going to be finished. (not to insult the individual, his work is brilliant) but it is what it is...
I wont bother to list them for the time being but im sure most of us know what they all are.

I am pointing out that all of these are abandoned because, at some point they all had at least a little bit made, weather it be a stopped frame, a portrait or even near completion.
with that being said, i don't see why it would be a problem for someone to come and finish certain ones.
And before any of the creators say "ohhh im still working on it" consider how long all of these have been sitting there "collecting dust"

Hmm, Vyers/Mid Boss was once on my list, do you mean the one in my topic, or there is some other one around? I recall doing a frame for Cecil that looked less like Ramza.

Your current Lenneth project looks great! (i will put a note that this was an older attempt listed)
second thing, Mid-Boss, one could easily recolor the well-made Sidney portrait that ive seen floating around into vyers picture... other than that i don't see why that would be a difficult project at all...

Port could be easily done indeed, I even have few ideas as to how to differ the port from Sidney. There is one difficulty with the sprite, I used Funeral Man's legs for the frame I did, and it looked great, one problem thoguh, that sprite isn't finished, so critical poses, dead poses and so forth would have to be custom. Using Elmdor's legs? Sure, but his cape is covering legs on all the back frames. I was having a lot of dilemna with this, and I decided to leave the project, haha.

I thought there is 70% done, that is what R showed me. I think he didn't upload it to the dropbox, so all we have is one-frame-Frimelda. At least colors, legs, and arms are ready. Zorine is probably 1 frame too. Ask Twinees for the BMPs.

Rakunar has a bit more frames than others, but don't expect THAT much, I think most of Walking frames were done on him.

The male Mystic Knight has never actually been submitted to the custom sprites page I don't think. I know I use it in CCP but its been so long since I got my hands on it I don't know who was responsible for it. I think Mando finished it up some, but I'm not sure. If it was him, I think I expected him to eventually put it in Site Submissions but for whatever reason that never happened.

well for a temporary fix something like teitra's or the generic female knight's hair would do in the back unless you really want it longer. from then its only a matter or editing the frontal frames. thats half the work done right there :D
anything longer than that really isnt necessary unless you wanna go crazy and use something like Deis' hair. in which case then you have most of the back frames done as well since it pretty much covers up most of the back body. I personally think it would look nice shoulder length anyway

That hair would look good on any chick body but it deserves a custom body, or at least a not so used one. If zoz can get moar of it done(cuz hes the hair man) I'd like to try and put it on something.

Agreed on FFT female thiefs, never liked those sprites either, especially the legs...ugh. If I were to do Leila, I would also palette her so she can be used as a generic Thief replacement. She wasn't Matthew gf literally, since she died before he could finally say it to her, but yeah, it was pretty obvious that they felt something to each other.
Exactly, Fire Emblem really could work nicely in FFT, if given some modifications(Knights for example have too many gold outlines everywhere, they are on every concept basiclly). Ever since Hector I wanted to do more concepts for FE guys, guess the time will come after JoT5 CH1 is done.
