Common interests, common hobby, common games? Share what games you are currently playing, and give and get ideas about what games you might want to try.

Mostly Monster Hunter Freedom 2 since I needed something for long plane rides. I love the series, but not as good when you can't play true online.

Trying to finish up a playthrough of FFT: Lion Wars. Also giving Vagrant Story another try, one of the most complicated games ever.

Also might get back to playing Dragon Quest Swords and Tales of Symphonia on my Wii.

I play MMORPG's like RF online. In psx I just play Megaman X4-5 just for fun. I havn't been able to continue my FFT(PSX) coz I'm bored unlocking all classes but I use it for my tests in editing.

I wanna try Vagrant Story coz I've read something that is has some connections to Ivalice. I also wanna try FFT(PSP) just to see the difference sadly I don't have any psp.

Right now I play:

Wild Arms XF (PSP) - an SRPG similar to FFT yet different in many ways. really good game for an FFT fan.

Crisis Core (PSP) - decent action RPG game. Graphics and story are great and the controls are solid but gameplay is lacking.

Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii) - I love this game can't say more than that.

Just finished persona 3. Wasn't that great.

Im playing Shiren the Wanderer for the DS at the moment. Really hard but really fun. One of the most strategic RPGs I've played. Be prepared to lose everything when you die. Back to the start, back to level one, every item gone etc etc and no saving. It's a roguelike.

Playing sometimes Valkyrie Profile (PSX).

Fun game, I recommend it as it's better than Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria, not to mention the battle system isn't buggy like that one (I remember wasting my AP by trying to dash past some corners, and even abusing the AP sytem and the AI like hell easily).

I'm becoming less and less of a gamer... principal reason is that they're aren't much good games I haven't played on the PSX & SNES.

Last Time I played Vagrant Story was about 3 weeks ago.

I'm currently in the firefly(?) forest. I thought I was overleved but the most damage I did on the last boss I fought was 11... And I don't really like leveling :/
The battle took roughly 10-15 minutes.

Love what you're seeing? https://supportus.ffhacktics.com/ 💜 it's really appreciated

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)
<R999> My target market is not FFT mod players
<Raijinili> remember that? it was awful

Right now I'm playing through FFT with my patch applied to it, and I'm also playing a hard mode of Final Fantasy 7 I found on teh internets. Basically all the enemies' stats have been increased by a lot so the game is harder. I was surprised at how much more fun it made the game though since now you actually need all those powerful materia combos and can't kill everything in a few hits.

Also I play Halo 3 and Guitar Hero 3 whenever the mood hits me, and I'm getting smash bros for my birthday on the 16th. Ever since I tried it out at my friend's house I've been wanting to play it so bad. Still have 13 days though.

  • AdventureQuest
  • DragonFable
  • Maple Story (not too much. Haven't loged in since the winter event)
  • Gaia Online (does that count?)

Mostly for me it's messing with my Patched FFT and playing Mabinogi ... otherwise, I've been wanting to play Homeworld, but the A.I. is too 'rushy' for me, so I don't enjoy it enough.

Ikariam. It starts out a little slow, but it's habit-forming.

Super Smash Bros Brawl w/ friends.

Also, I loved Tales of Symphonia (gamecube version, if there is a Wii version).
I changed jobs and that has made all the difference.

Well I just play Tales of Symphonia on my Wii, but there is also a true sequal to Symphonia coming out for the Wii in Japan pretty soon. I'm a big fan of the "Tales of" series.

I once tried to play Tales of Legendia. Sucked so hard.

I'm now playing Luminous Arc on the DS. If you like good characters and story, do not play it. The gameplay is alright. Think Final Fantasy Tactics but about a 1/5th as interesting.

Oh please don't use Tales of Legendia as an example of the series. It isn't even done by one of the regular creative teams and is a really terrible game, I hate it. Try Tales of the Abyss if you want to give the series a real chance.

Currently  playing the Metal Gear Solid Online Beta. It is cool but a little wonky because it really isn't like a fast past action shooter. But it is still pretty fun.

Still play a bit of Monster Hunter Freedom 2.

I just discovered the existence of a Chrono Trigger editor which I used to make all the monsters in the game actually pose a challenge. Games are so much more fun when they're hard to beat. :P
Makes me wish Square could've just made them this way in the first place.
