Tweaking Dragon Colors

Changed portrait colors a little and reorderd the last 4 pallettes in case the stock game actualy ussed the 4th and 5th palettes which had Reis and a Yellow Dragon colors.

Those look much less vibrant, which is a good thing.  The other dragon color were too cartoony.

Thanks, twas the idea its hard trying to make them look scarry and not too dark for the battlefields at the same time.

one of the greater wyrms from ffxi, came across the pic awhile back and realized how terribly cute and cudly fft dragons are.

Well think thats about it for dragon touch ups, time to move onto the next way too brightly colored critter.. prolly ghosts or malboros

Me likey the black dragon.  The Reis sprite is nice, but the main skin color could be a little more blue.

That reis dragon is a good start, but she seems more like a snow dragon than a holy one. I'd say either give her hide more of a blue or gold tint, make her belly more pink or lavender.

To each their own i spose, i think they are both pretty good improvments over the old dark purple/green one.

Still deciding on these two and the wether to use vanya's dark dragon with the blueish spikes or the one you see in the new image on the main post.

damned palette limitations.... spose i could get rid of those silly cockatrice to have more dragon variety tho?

I like white with reddish bottom.  You don't need to limit yourself to the amount of dragons in the game.  Vanya has made about a gajillion and twenty chocobo sprites (give or take a gajillion), so you could do the same with dragons.  My personal request would be to make the super orange hydra, less super orange.

Holy Dragons / Arch Dragons in FF lore are usually Golden in color, right?

You could just make her Golden / White

Looking at the description, it sounds more like an UN-holy dragon.

Green/Grand, Blue, Red, Dark, Zombie are the ones used most consistantly in the ff titles.

And its funny you should mention his chocobos.. i'm using some of them

I'm not really sure what i want to do with hydra's. they dont seem to look as good as dragons do with dark colors.
