Where is the crash log?

Need help ePSXe loads a bit then crashes... No error message given.

Hello I just patched my FFT with The Lion War and the tried to play it on ePSXe and when I load up the ISO it just goes black and then crashes. I haven't patched it with anything else and I follow the direction of for the patch on a youtube video.. Not sure what I did wrong ,but that's what happend....

Found something out. Those "Save Files" are just save data not a game save. Looks like that is why it shows up in the data files yet doesn't show up as a save... Don't know what I can do with that to be honest. And yes, it seems I'm no that bright in the first place and my computer skills are laughable at best. Yet, I don't want to give up. I want to learn. May take me awhile. So I'll take a look at those posts. Thank you for your help and understanding.

Also, I'd like to get stuff like these to videos show. Being able to have a powerful job or two working on characters I can edit the names of and use on that first second fight of the first chapter...

Able to get it partially working I load a save and am able to mess around with it and get it to where I want it to work... But then when I try to use it. Its either not showing up or a corrupt file...

Sorry. I'm use to installing and playing mods on stuff like Skyrim and Mass Effect. I'm not used to patching and with the game save editing, It was easier on Mass Effect... So, can  anybody point me in the right direction for some guides for patching and games save editing for FFT and FFT WoTL on PSP. Also how to get FFT working on the ePSXe so like Elric said I can learn to bugtest and memory edit on pSX and play on ePSXe.. Sorry for asking a lot, I'm just not used to trying to get thing working on this platform. Like I said it was easier on the other games I play. Cause of Nexu Mods and all. I was wondering what is better to use... pSX or ePSXe? What's the difference... do you guys and gals use ePSXe?

restart as in turn everything off and then back on. Or do you mean uninstalling then reinstalling?

no the changes are not there although, as you stated I may have to load a savestatem, not sure how to do that and then load a hard save. We will see.

My problem is that I can see my two games saves. One was from actually play FFT WOTL and the other was a downloaded save from gamefaqs... I one I played shows up and is playable the downloaded one shows yet is not playable. As in they are both showing up in the Saved Data Utility as saves. But when I go to play the game only one is there, the one I played. If I drop any new save into my save folder for some reason they don't show up in the load screen as an option to play. I feel as though there maybe a file there that maybe missing and that can potentially be the issue here maybe I copied everything yet that person who packaged these files for the game save left something out. Or more likely  that I messed up somehow... Yeah, the user error option seems like it may carry a lot of weight here, no wonder I'm sinking in this quicksand...

I believe I have that yet, the save is in the card data and I cannot change things with the editor. While sorry, what I mean is that I can change everything using the editor yet none of it saves I'll go in the game and it plays as it was before I tried to edit it. Also, I saw some cold video of someone making a couple new jobs I believe they were Watcher, Pious Knight, Heaven Knight, and a few others. And it was moded/edited so that they where those jobs with those abilities they had and everything in the second battle, when you are a fresh recruit. Do you know of any mods/edits such as these I would really love to use something like this and all... Thank you for all of your help, guidance, and patience with me.

Yeah you are right. I have to get used to starting with the "yes my psp turns off and on" and all the rest. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk I'm just trying to follow instructions and not used to the debriefing. I'll start from the top like you suggested and report back after I have done so.

Ok, What is the original file type for game save for Final Fantasy Tactics on the pSX? That way I can edit it back as a game save and try playing it. I'm sorry I don't give a million details. I'll try to do better in the future..

ok sorry I did unzip with WinRar and I don't have a card reader that allows me to use the memory stick I have to use the micro sd and put it in a reader and then plug the reader into to usb port then I copy the files from the my cpu and put them on the micro sd then I put the micro sd into a memory stick that takes it then I start up the game and nothing... I'm very sorry I'm not used to talking about all of these steps. I'm not used to someone asking me to go over things step by step like this. I'm trying so don't get mad that I left something out... Anyways... I tried it again today... I never checked the area on the game menu that says save data utility... It showed the save there but when I go to load it and play it. Nothing... No save data found... Weird...

I first went to gamefaqs and downloaded a save from said site, for the PSP version of FFT wotl and put it  on a memory stick and inserted that into my PSP. Then I go to load it and its as if it is not there at all... I don't know how to fix that so it will show up and I am able to use it... AGHGHHGHGGHGGHHGHHG!!! Rage Quit and throws PSP into the garbage machine and flips it on. ROFL! Nah man, I wouldn't do that, now if I were five again then yes. LOL!

trying to use saves from this site  It will either not show up as a save on the PSP or it will become a dirty save and needs to get deleted. I'd like to find a way to make them work on my PSP. Please help....

Ok I am sorry then. I'll try and add whatever useful information I can think of. I am Using pSX I am now currently attempting to change a .GME to a file time that I can use as a game save for FFT...   I am using a save in the save folder yet the game saves to the memory card. Not only will the game refuse to load the one in the save menu but the one in the memory folder is inaccessible.

Sorry all this makes me feel dumb I must be doing something wrong. I cannot seem to be able to use it....
