editing onion knight's innate "can't use abilities"

in a patch i'm working on, i was thinking of replacing the onion knight with another class. which worked fine until i loaded my game and remembered that onion knights can't equip abilities. what can i use to get rid of that?

also, is there a way to change geomancy to a skill list? i want to replace the geomancer job with a blue mage, and i can't use the abilities i set because geomancy isn't a skill list in battle?

any help would be awesome


Sadly, that all requires ASM that's beyond what's doable on the PSP right now. :(
