Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for PSP. Purely epic game. And I hear they're making a new one on PS3??

I've not played it yet, but I got it a few nights ago after looking for something new to play on the old psp :toot:

It's great. My cousin got me hooked on it originally, but I haven't thought about it much since discovering WotL. Maybe I should see if it's possible to hack...? ^^

I'd see no reason why it's not, but to my knowledge there aren't many tools out for it, not compared to WotL at least.

*shrugs* Bah, I see no reason why one would want to hack it anyway. It's an uber-fun game, even if some of the armor or weapons are rather difficult to get. > 3 wyvern scales, 2 monster bone +, for example.

i loved it. i imported mhp2g from japan. english patch and all after i ripped it to my psp.

Problem is that sony is stupid.

At first, they said "NO! its NEVER coming ot the US, we have no interest"

so we MAKE AN ENGLISH PATCH

Capcom then said "no posting of english patch, blah blah blah, insert silly reason here"

they then proceeded to release MHFU. witch is the us version of mhp2g.

They only released it because they realized that hundreds of people were downloading mhp2g for the english patch, and applying CFW JUST for that game.

they lost revenue, because they didnt want to do something in the first place.

capcom fails in marketing. in fact, i think this picture is a goo representation.

I had MH for the ps2 and I plan on getting it for the psp as the original contained so much win.

Monster Hunter is one of my favorite series of games. MH3 is coming out in Japan for the Wii in a couple months, looks freaking awesome (youtube it).

I originally got into the series when the original came out on PS2 and you could play online. Those were the good days. I'm really not much of a fan playing it single player though I still managed to put more hours into it then I do pretty much any game now adays.

Monster Hunter is such a great series, totally worth looking into Voldemort, though the originals PS2 servers are shut down now. It is uncertain if MH3 will come to US, but it would have to be really freaking stupid not too. Sometimes game companies are really thick headed when looking at sales trends. I'm sure Capcom is going "Well MH sells really really well on handhelds, but it sold terribly on the PS2 so obviously it will sell horrible on the Wii since they are both consoles. Forget the fact that you had to have this crazy adapter thing to play games online with a PS2 and that this series was totally an unknown back then and now has a huge fan base, it's not like everyone and their grandmother plays Wii or anything." Idiots, I WANT MY FUCKING MH3 BITCHES! Not to mention split screen in MH3, fucking split screen would be epic!

Ah, darthpaul, you sheltered child. And yeah, it would be really stupid not to put MH3 out on Wii in America. I mean, we are the laziest country on Earth! If you can't market a videogame to America, then why try to sell it at all?
