I can see the intro thread getting turned hormonal, and really that's it.  

imo sick Zodiac on him, causing actual action upon his posts instead of pontification on the matter.  Or mess with private messages.  This sort of public sniveling is hardly justified.

Going to zodiac directly would be rather fruitless. He really wouldnt learn his lesson.

The main point of this was to see as many people as possible who are thinking the same. If i am the only one who felt this way, i would not go to zodiac, and waste his time on this. However, it appears quite a few people agree with me, and i am in the process of having zodiac look at this now. Rather than just Ban Zalge right off the bat, several good suggestions have been made to moderate him.

This topic actually does a good job of being justified, all in itself. Banning recklessly is something this community doesnt need. That is what Gamefaqs is for.

i used to be real bad at 14 with this kinda stuff, but learned quickly

i'm sure zalge has read this by now and should refrain from such posts (or at least tone them down) if not then we should take this up to the next step. you know we really need a set of rules for this kind of thing and maybe actually speaking against the behavior before it gets to this level

Or take some privileges away from him till he get's better.

I wasn't suggesting banning (was that reckless banning comment even directed at me?), just blatant deletion with an admin going "don't do that again" is far more forceful and convincing than a normal guy going "waaaaaah stop".

And if Zodiac really needs more than one person to say "hey, this guy is posting like a douche, please do something authoritative", then that's really just a crappy situation all around.

More or less, im not a normal guy, if only you knew how much ive contributed to various discoveries and LD's early work on mercenaries. not to sound pompous, but Zodiac pays at least some attention to what i say.

And wtf do you mean? gamefaqs does blatant banning ALL THE TIME for ABSOLUTLY NO REAL REASON. The admin believes they are right, but often the use is left confused and doesnt think he did anything wrong. Even if it is pointed out to him.

Also, zodiac could look at this, but he is very busy as of late, and i didnt want to bother him with it unless it was a problem to more than just me. getting a public opinion can help move a descision much faster than going through every post or various PMs

i think a more one on one approach should be taken first like a MATURE pm, then a public discussion if it gets worse (but not like the "should jacob be banned" thread, we already knew the answer)

I just haven't posted in awhile, and Spam was taken over by Zalge and MagiTek having eSex. So, I've just been trolling Spriting, and working on my own projects until I can post something useful.

It was only funny when a few of us were lightheartedly joking with Curu, now it's to a point of disgust.
