Ah, I thought you were going to do a MM-theme team when I read the first name, only to find out it was some Speed Save abomination. I feel betrayed.

Speaking of betrayals, I thought Lore wasn't supposed to repeat itself anymore? I could have sworn this was what was supposed to be done. Then again, no one really used Scholars for their abilities more than twice after Ultima first popped up and Damage Split is usually all we see of them otherwise.

Anyway, I would like my newest team to fight Skip Sandwich's garden, Shade's Holy Team and/or, since everyone else is doing it (masochists), Pride's Fire Team. Fighting Pride will probably be an uninteresting (curbstomp) battle though considering his Asura is basically a free X-Potion to his other Samurai or a free Elixir to his Geomancers. So...more so Skip Garden or Holy Shade than Prideful Fire.

Also FFM you made really fucking cheap combo, but it's weak point is that another teams with tanky archers(like mine) also with speed save might kill you alot faster than you'd think. Yell and speed save combined againts your team would probaly be brutal(half faster then your guys(and if archers they deal lot's of damage in range(bow get stronger the higher speed))).

So yes this is a suggestion to fight againts your team with my DOOM ARCHERS.

I had tight fight with Pride so why are you guys saying that you can't like defeat his(FFM proved that Prides team is winnable).

Oh hi there...

Just started fiddlin' around with this patch, but there's lots to rummage through. Paladins, Archers, Ninjas... Did make a standard "abuse Scholar all target magic", 'cause I saw others were doin' it... using MA Save and Speed Save on everyone, then attacks which built up according. No more speed-based attacks aside from Dagger/Ninja Sword, but that worked in my preliminaries... oh wait, there's Shiruken... but Ninja stats are so much worse than Thief, just for innate 2H... meh.

It'd be nice to have a set of "official teams" to fight against though. Both balanced and gimmick, just a variety to face against... or was that in the save which came with? Couldn't get it working for some reason, so I used one from 1.3 Arena, and made up teams on my own.

I'll write it up if people're still lurkin' around here, waitin' for a challenge.

I'd sugest the following teams for you to face:

secondadvent's team: good example of magic-heavy (status and damage)
pride's team: good example of a defensive team due to absorb combo and 40-40 units
my own team: good example of status heavy/"defensive" team ("defensive" cause it now has a huge threat in the paladin with salty rage)

there are more teams out there, but these ones were the best in tests so far, imo. Of course, this counts the teams created so far. There is a lot to be abused (last song + mime, mimicry in general, double absorb combos, init:faith mantle, etc) and haven't been used yet. I haven't changed my team yet since I'm still trying to show how stupid salty rage is when berserk gives +50% damage.
