Bow only ability,possible?

Since my main character has skill he can use only with sword and others only with bow, I would like to know if i can do it.I had the tought of setting every bow with the "Materia sword" check but there is none.Any way i could do this?

Nope. you can only do 3 things.
1) Usable with sword/knight sword only
2) Usable with the materia blade only. (This the specific item, so you can change it to any other kind item and it'll still work.)
3) Both. Not sure if one overrides the other or if they stack. Needs testing.

To get a skill to work only with another type of weapon would require an ASM hack to the routine that checks the sword only flag. So it IS possible, but good luck getting it done without an experienced PSX ASM haXor.

ahh somehow i was thinking there was a check box to make a weapon a materia blade in addition (but not limited) to being a sword

but its that one and only item eh? that sux i have no use for it since i removed materia blade from limit requirement.

i had been thinking of making axe only skills but i guess i can't

Can't you check ranged weapon?

You'd be able to use the gun but...

Ranged weapon = Use Equipped Weapon's Range.
