So, I'd like to hand this Sean Connery look-alike off to someone.
And also perhaps acquire him a portrait so that he may have some sort of dignity.

Hey, that looks pretty cool. I went ahead and attempted a portrait...but I should forewarn you that: A) I've never done this before B) I ripped the hair/ear off the 60 yr. old man sprite C) I didn't completely fix the palette D) I can't shade or draw worth shit.

And for some reason he kinda looks like Doogie Howser.

Well, I think his hair should be abit spiky.
Perhaps not flat like that.

id say his hair would probably be brought back similar to delita's, it could potentially be long but i personally never pictured his hair longer under that.

Asmo, I didn't meant anime hairstyles. It's just I think the hair shouldn't be flat like that.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, but yeah, I should have taken more of his original sprite into consideration. His hair looks like it's being pulled back in the original portrait, but the sprites at the top of this page look only slightly pulled or slicked back.

I was thinking his hair probably quite short and abit spikes up like the sprite.
Cause judging for hooded Orlandu, I think his hair is short and the front looks like bit spike.

The portrait doesnt show "spiky hair". It just shows some hair ruffled around around the fringe area. Orlandu would look fucking retarded with spiky hair. Mav has the right idea.

He looks so much younger in the Mav portrait, but that's about what I'd think his hair looked like. I guess the hood makes him look way older to me...

I like mav's portrait alot.

Still it does seem that his hair has at least one wild little tuft at the front, which adds some personality.
Also, the hood seems to be coming up too far in the back. More of his neck should be exposed.

It's just that his front hair is a little tuft, like Kaze said.
So, his hair shouldn't be too flat.
But anyway, what I'm saying for spiky is not like those animes' hairstyles that spikes.
Just a little spike at the front or like what Kaze did here.
Still, sorry though for mentioning spike, Asmo.

Kaze, that looks ridiculous, sorry. Mav's version is far more dignified. Orlandu doesn't need some crazily primped hairdo that clears the top of the frame by a good margin.

i like what you did with the neck but the hair looks stupid. it should look ruffled not spikey

That portrait looks quite awesome--I especially like how you fixed the neck and collar, that was one huge problem with mine. Did you connect the beard/goatee to his sideburns? That's pretty suave looking, but personally I decided to leave 'em separate to distinguish him from some of the other bearded fellas, like Dycedarg and whoever else had a full beard.
