I figured I'll shared some of the assets I've made, as I've used a lot in this forum as building blocks.
Credit to Zozma for Sprite 3 (a Blansch recolor), Conman for Sprite 4 (a Magus recolor), and Seushiro for Sprite 5 (a King Delita edit - recolor + changed death sprites).
Sprite 1: Tiefling warlock
Sprite 2: Moon elf ranger
Sprite 3: Half-orc cleric
Sprite 4: High elf necromancer
Sprite 5: Warforged (robot) fighter
Sprite 6: Warforged (robot) cleric
Sprite 7: Jareth, the Goblin King
Warforged (robot) rogue - aka TI-83
(MiKeMiTchi's skeleton as the base)
My first monster attempt - a dodongo from TLoZ. I tried to get it to be that classic tripedal form, but found it too difficult to adapt the existing behemoth sprite for my needs. The protrait is an edit of CONMAN's dragon lord.
The second set of attack frames are intended to be used with Self-Destruct - I followed the example of the Bomb sheet for sprites.
It's a bit rough (especially the back attack animations), but I added a rider to the dodongo for a Zelda project I'm planning. I would have liked to make the rider a different color, but in order to retain any level of detail on either the rider or the dodongo, they need to match.
I'm going to add a few different palettes to both this sprite and the solo-dodongo, like an OG NES Zelda orange variant, but that may come a bit later.
Alright, here's our next Zelda sprite - a bit of a weird one. It's the Nejiron - a Goron-like enemy from the Ikana Valley in Majora's Mask.
There is something I find deeply unsettling about that portrait.
Cool stuff!
A taste of what's coming next . . .
Not sure why the .gif is getting hitched up before repeating
Well, it's been a minute, but here's a WIP real bombchu from LoZ:MM. I know it looks out of place for FFT, but the original enemy looked pretty out of place in Majora's Mask.
Need to do back attack animations and self-destruct animations.
I've been using a Pokemon Ranger sprite as the base, but that game gives heavy dark outlines around sprites. I might need to soften that up.
Next batch of Zelda enemies -
Finished Real bombchu
and finished Beamos
Both of these only have one palette currently, but I do have plans to add two more each

Edit 1/25/21:
I have reuploaded the Beamos to fix some issues with the portrait. I'm planning to remake the entire bombchu sprite, so I'm not messing with it right now.
Aaand, after a little while, here's the octorok (with a photo of the N64 model for reference), built using the Morbol as a base. There are blue and black variants included as well.
Enjoy!
Edit 1/25/21:
Fixed portrait.
That looks pretty good Porklin! I'm reminded that I considered fusing the Morbol and Quecklain into Ursula from the little mermaid! I really like that port!
Thanks, Conman!
On deck is the Bubble (red, blue, and white/flameless)
Here's the completed bubble - that was the quickest turn around I've had yet.
I made it to place over the ahriman sprite, explaining all the space at the bottom of the sheet.
I also included a preview of the other two palettes - the blue bubble, and a flameless bubble
Edit 1/25/21:
Fixed port
I quickly made a Garo robe from Majora's Mask over the weekend, and I'm happy enough with how it turned out. It's based on the Jot5 ranger sprite (Kagebunji / Concept by Twinees) with some vanilla wizard mixed in. It's a bit of a departure form the original model, which has a very long cloak, but again, I'm happy with it.
Incidentally, it could totally be a Jawa if that's what your project needs. I like how this looks as a type 1 sprite, and that's how I was tweaking it.
As a spriting exercise, I decided to fill in the "missing" frames on the vanilla goblin spritesheet. If you want goblins that can sing and wield weapons, this is the sprite for you.
It's worth noting that I have not tested this in game. I tried my best to have the hands located in the same spot as other vanilla sprites, but I'm not sure if weapons will be in the exact right spot. Maybe one day I'll get around to that.
Enjoy!

Thanks man. Gonna snag this for Jot5
Alright, the squid was a bit tougher than the goblin for me. I ended up not really liking this sprite, but at least I have a better sense of how type2 sprites are constructed.
As with the goblin, this has not been tested with weapons in game, so use at your own risk. Feel free to let me know if anything looks incredibly goofy, and I might be able to take a stab at fixing it.
FYI: My Zelda monster sprites have messed up portraits (I forgot that they get stretched in game), so I'll hopefully reupload those within the next day or two
Edit:
Done - except for the bombchu (see post) and the nejiron, which ended up looking fine.
I considered deleting the old bombchu, but I think I'll keep it up for posterity, and in case anyone prefers it over this one.
However, here is a smaller, simpler bombchu from Majora's Mask. It's (clearly) based on a Rattata, but I think the small size will help distinguish it from other monsters players'll be seeing in my (eventual) mod.
I'm including two sizes here. The longer sheet should interact properly with Vanilla self-destruct's code, while the shorter one will fit better into standard sprite holes.
Enjoy
So I'm mostly holding back on my generic units sprites for the moment (and most are recolors of existing sprites) but here are two that I'm particularly proud of, and that I think would be good to put out now.
So, building off my mini-bombchu from above, is the beast-friend. This will be a blue mage-esque job, and is highly attuned to most monsters. He's always got his little bombchu buddy riding along.
The second sprite is built from lildan's Kabuki sprite, which is itself built upon the Lazuli sprite by MikeMitchi. I think this will be the same job as above for the Garo forces, but I'm not sure yet. I'm really happy with how this mask turned out!
Heyyy, it's a little deku sprout. Enjoy!
Alright, I'm at work on my next Zelda sprite - the goron.
I tried to get it to be a human-type sprite, but I just couldn't get it working. So, it'll be a MON sprite.
Here is what it basically looks like. I made the head using the in-game goron model as a reference, and the body is a recolored and touched-up Machoke from Pokemon Ranger. It's a bit more muscle-bound than the standard n64 gorons, but kinda matches up with Twilight Princess' design.
And here the goron is!
Well, the latest Zelda sprite is done. It's the Zora - LOZ resident fishman species
'Soraya' by Valkirst and 'Link' by Twin were used in the construction of this.
If you're looking for a sprite *twice told* it's lacking in definition, this is it :P
Enjoy!
Hey man. That mask looks awesome! I'm glad there are active people still making sprites and keeping this community and game alive. College keeps me away from spriting sadly, but seeing your message on my sprite made me want to start doing sprites again. Let's keep this community alive
