8GB PSP memory stick and a 320GB PS3 Internal Hard Drive!

Damn, I was in dire need of those. Stepping up from 2GB to 8GB is one thing (considering FF7 took up a monstrous 1,323MB), but my PS3's hard drive is a mere 40, taken up by installs and a few MB of porn. Heh, can't wait to slap in my 320 hard drive now, even though its packaging does resemble a massive condom packet.

Only problem is I can't backup my hard drive, only copy a few saves (long story short, me and my friend weren't entirely sure how the account / user system worked so the problem arised from gamesharing)

So I'll have to restart Soul Calibur IV (meh, never liked it that much anyway), GTA IV (thankfully I only did 2 missions prior to finding out that you can't copy saves on it), Devil May Cry 4 (fun at any difficulty so NVM) and LittleBigPlanet (can't get enough of that).

Nor will I play PAIN, PixelJunk Eden, Buzz, (all shared), Orange Box, Unreal Tournament III or MGS4 until I swap it round.

I'll also have to download innumerable games and their updates...but I can play my new copy of Persona 4 while I do that :P

tl ; dr version: Me get BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG HDD, me start over, me play stoner RPG during updates.

Oh yeah, and I'll be buying Lucifer's Call (Nocturne in the US) soon too!

I need to get that (damn conservatives renaming shit). Personas 3 and 4 almost didn't make it too the U.S. because they have Lucifer, Satan, and Helel in them. Bullshit man.

Seriously? Well, at least they are readily released in the US as far as the publishers and developers are concerned. Lately Atlus and in particular Nippon Ichi have been very hesitant to release their games in the UK and Europe (mainly as the UK pretty much determines what the rest of the European Union gets) - probably because the US tends to 'lap it up' more - in Europe, manga, anime and quirky JRPGs are...well, not 'taboo' topics but just very very geeky.

Hence, outside of Personas 3 and 4, SMT has little popularity in Britain, and even then Persona has little more than a cult following. I'm not even sure that Devil Summoner (Kaizounha Raidhou or something) was ported here - Devil Survivor wasn't anyway.

In future it's only gonna get worse courtesy of PSP Go. Persona and P3 Portable will be on PSN - however, PSN is ridiculously unbalanced. Before you bitch about the Japan store having far more than the US one, take a look at the UK. The only thing we have exclusive is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Hell, that and FF7 can ONLY be found using the search bar, they're not even in A - Z listings.

I could rant for ages about why PSP Go is a bad idea on so many fronts, but the main one is that PSN is badly balanced (despite the fact that PS3 is region-free and all US content is already in English) and would require account hopping - something that isn't easily done on PSP as it is on PS3.

Sorry for going off track again...Damn PSP Go...Sony screw Europe really bad with PSN.

PSP Go...the new model of PSP...y'know...THE ONE THAT DOESN'T HAVE A FRIGGING UMD DRIVE. Seriously...how do Sony think they can profit from this?

P3 Portable is a remake of P3, has all FES content aside from the Answer (people complained that the original story was good enough), with some more Personas and S. Links, and the option to play as a girl, with different S. Links.

However I think they're removing the anime cutscenes.

EPIC PHUCKIN' PHAIL.

Ah Go as in stupid.

Removing the anime cutscenes would not be too bad as I have beaten the game. I would like to see them preserved though.

When is P3P available then? Or has a release date not been set.

Only for 1 November in Japan ATM but it most likely will hit the US, in UMD and PSN format (only good thing I can say about the Go is that it will have all forthcoming games on PSN in downloadable format, so I can share it) eventually, Europe probably not, but I can import a US PSN card.

Are you mad? Watch that scene where Orpheus awakens. Can you imagine that being as awesome using the game's graphics engine? TBH...visually Persona 3 was quite a travesty. And I'm not saying that because I have a PS3. I've seen many PS2 games released ages before Persona 3 that look far better.

I can't imagine why they would remove the beginning and end cutscenes. The ones in the middle could easily be rendered with the game engine.

Also the game wasn't much of a travesty so much as it had it's own style. The style I enjoy, and the voice actors fit the roles perfectly. Honestly it is following the lines of a perfect games in my opinion. Not perfect, but pretty damn close.
