I think you've captured their posture rather well. I'd move his head down about a pixel, if possible, as I've always seen them as hunchbacks.

you know, personally, i am able to make sprites much more easily if its one that i feel like making at the time and not a request. is it the same for you smash? if so then id say start with what u feel like first anyway.

Makes me wonder, if he started a Lyndis sprite. I could maybe work on it a bit in my free time, while Smash sleeps.

Good point jimmy. I'll make it a pixel longer and have a look at it. And yes, Lyndis's arms are very thin.

Btw smash, since you are doing a bangaa does that mean youre gonna do other ffta stuff like a moogle? (id love to see an oldschool mog tho)

frankly, i've had absolutely no time for spriting as of late. i know i promised an angela sprite, and as soon as i do the last section of arms, you guys are gonna get it along with something else i had lying around. i'd love to take another swing at an ol'school moogle, but not until after i've got at least the first two rows of corban's new incarnation, kuro, done (this thing will look like a new ninja shinobi, and i'll include optional palettes as well).

Wha? But I love the current Corban! Unless you mean an alternate sprite for later in your patch, of course. Then that's fine... personally though I love the sprite you've made already.

so do i (i should submit the revision; it's just a refined version of the one i have), but this character is made to be like a hero mediator/spy or something...the new one has a completely different job (i tried so much to convince myself of how the current sprite matches the new job, but i failed...)

btw, i like what smash is doing here. this bangaa could be the base for a whole new set of sprites. i'll try to get a few positions for each done and see how it all goes.

Wow Smash, your sprites are amazing! You have a nice aeris goin on there but I felt something was a little strange with the hair and it had a grey tint to it so i did a few minor edits to it, what do u think?

I agree with Cheetah's earlier comments on the bangaa.  The diagonal front view is fantastic, but something is a little bit off about the straight front view.  Maybe it has something to do with the arms?  It reminds me a bit of Nizbel, the first real boss of the stone age in Chrono Trigger, and I don't think that's quite the look you were going for.

Speaking of moogles, am I the only one that actually liked their FFXII look?
