Final Fantasy Hacktics

this portrait is really scaring me, no offense. try the copy paste method instead of trying to draw from scratch...the whole portrait is way off of the fft style.i would've just used the one that kage posted up, but that's just me... other than that i want to see an update on that sprite ;D...

your second portrait looks better than the first one. but the shoulders looks really wide. theres something wrong with her hair that makes it hard for me to concentrate on it, maybe a little pillow shaded... as for the sprite... the shades for the skin don't work out together, you got two shades of brown and 1 shade of peach? the hair for the sprite also looks a little bit messy and the shape of her face seems chunky. but this is going in the right direction ...

cecil paladin is looking nice smash... curu's dk looks good but looks more like it should be a generic to me... id prefer the dissidia dk cecil.

true it dont look ac like but the old portrait still look nice. but i agree that it needs a better sprite. actually i saw a sprite that i think is by kuraudo in the "what is everyone working on" with hair close to ac cloud

the one on the left looks good. cloud is suppose to be older in ac but he still has that baby face lol.

it looks like smash did a pretty good face fix.

"his" right side of the face looks wierd. it needs a little work on it, but i dont know if its because of his cheek but his right eye also looks out of place...

if anything the eyes need a change for the innocent look

i think mav's look  better. his has a more main character look. though your true about kletian's face being innocent, his head angle does not match the hair angle. but my opinion doesn't matter, im just a nobody. its up to the artist to decide what they want and are willing to do lol.

the palette is full but i was going to replace the green on it anyways...

yea i know it wasnt shaded that well when i was working on it... but here is the update of madara.... i didnt edit the pallette yet. i just used the original samurai colors...
