Wow, that sounds cool, but tough...I mean, the bandanna shouldn't be a problem, but I doubt I could make a good knot/eye patch. I'll see what I can do--if I end up drawing a blank, I'll just post him with a bandanna or with a bandanna and a normal eye patch.

Quote from: "Zozma"perhaps a scar will make it too busy. now for the eye patch, i was thinking making it more unique would be cool, as in it being made of the tattered fabric that his old death corps cape was made out of. and drape down that side of his face like a bandana with the knot tied just above that eye's socket.

that would eliminate the need to add more scars to the face by coverying just a little bit more of the skin with the cloth...

Very Good, the bandanna or something similiar could show he's hiding some nasty things from the zeakden incident

Yeah, I added the bandanna last night, and it automatically made him look a lot more war-torn--kinda reminiscent of a veteran. I'll see if I can make the knot look legit.

EDIT: I attached the work-in-progress. I think I might have changed his remaining facial expression to echo Ch. 2 Ramza's, but I can't really remember...

The final one really gives him more of a tragic look. That battle will probably be the one that characterizes Golagros best, that poor soul...

I kinda dislike the scar style I chose for him now...do you guys think it looks appropriate? Or should I give him a series of small diagonal slashes below the eyepatch? Maybe I should extend the scar?

Wait, is Zozma even interested in this portrait anymore?

Hmm, below the Eyepatch? Sounds like a good plan, just to see what it looks like.

I think if you made the one in the middle so that the cloth hangs down and covers a lot more of the face it would look better

eyepatches aren't really worn like that. The strap goes straight across the brow or if its angled like yours it goes under the ear

what im really looking for tho is the bandana with the knot over that eye and the extra cloth covering that eye along with the rest of that side of the face.

the cloth was made from the old deathcorps cape

Ah, good to know--I'd rather try getting the knot thing to work, but so far I've kinda failed at that.

maybe something that covers the face like this (can you tell I didn't spend much time on this?)
maybe make the edges look tattered, and it would remove the need for a scar

too much face cover really.

for an idea the sprite preview is on the previous page if you scroll up.

more like if you were to tie a bandanna but have whats usually in the back, where the knot is, placed over that eye so that the remaining cloth hangs over that side of the face.

something more like this but im just not doing something right i think.

either im making it stick out too much from the rest of the picture or something...

Ah very nice! You missed some shading on the neck, it seems, but the eye-patch looks phenomenal. I think I misunderstood what you were asking for, but either way it looks like this is pretty much complete.

Oh and at one point, you gotta show that scar off without the bandanna. It'd be quite shocking. Heheh.

Whoa...This is amazing!! I think it looks perfect! The scar under the tied knot bandana...Awesome!!
Also, I've read all the posts and Monica will work like monster? In terms of items and etc...I mean her skills are...wow. Haha ^^

EDIT: Yeah. SHOW THE SCARS!!! Hehe
Kindly upload the images to other image hosting sites. I can't view imageshack. Thanks.

Is it suposed to look like his eye socket was obliterated? I like it. Morbid, but realistic.
Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, bringing torment and pain to others. Oh damned soul wallowing in your sin, perhaps...it is time to die

pretty much yeah DP, if you think about the FT Zeakden explosion hes lucky to still have his head at all. also no telling how many scars hes hiding under his armor and clothes.

and Jimmy,

Yeah it was planned for Monica to be set up not to be able to change jobs but in the end she would have really nice equipment with innate maintinance. this might change however, and she could be set up to change jobs later.. well see. It more depends on if Zodiac is able to make weapon type specific requirements for certain skills because she has 2 skills that are "spear skills"
