News:

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

I work part time for a youtube channel with over 500,000 subs as a video editor. I'm a huge fan of the FFT series and what this site has done for it and I would love to help it get some proper appreciation.

Completed Mods / Re: WotL Slowdown Removal Patch
April 14, 2013, 05:04:41 pm
So obviously this one requires the jailbroken software, has anyone ever made one that doesn't? I know that's probably not even possible, I just find it ridiculous that you need to jail break a PSP just to get the system to not have lag.

Like...what character sprites do you like to replace? Which custom ones do you use? Which build of FFT from this site do you like to play with?

I'm always interested in what someone else's modded game looks like and how it can differ from mine.

It's been a while since I played my own (It's on my Xperia Play, and I'm currently playing original vanilla on my PS3 instead).

Help! / Hacktics for my FPse?
October 05, 2012, 10:34:01 am
I have a fully paid for copy of FPse, a retail copy of Final Fantasy Tactics, and, of course, access to this website. I recently heard that some people were playing their copies running with patches that had very similar names to the ones on this site.

Is this true or just rumor mill fodder?

K... so I kinda broke the rules. I used the original Rei (Breath of fire 3) sprite as a base for this... resized it... and kinda redrew each section in FFT-style. So if this doesn't count that's fine.. I wanted to submit it anyway for fun ^_^

Note: Big Rei is the original sprite in BoF3, Rei.bmp is my FFT-version.

Iiiiiiiii like it.

I replaced the sprites with Shishi, and tried to re-import them with CD Mage. So I should use Shishi to re-import? It was a bit confusing because it says 'import' but the import tool only lets me bring in new .bmp images over sprites I opened with Shishi.

I tried opening the .img files with shishi to edit, but the only way I can open up .img files with shishi right now is if I right click the .img file and go 'open with' and select the file and that just gives me a blank shishi interface where all I can do under file is 'open' again. If I go 'open' from shishi the .img files aren't selectable. I figure that means this version isn't compatible with .img

Title states the question. Does CD Mage only allow you to import one at a time? I spent about an hour swapping out probably between 50-70% of the sprites out in a folder I made to work with and can only seem to import them one at a time.

Well I was trying to swap some sprites around, but my FFT folder isn't an ISO, it's a Disc Image file.

I'm lookin' for a trust worthy converter.

Allllsoooo...

Java fail with the IRC channel.

Mibbit works though!

lulz Alright. Well, do we have any blank bases to start with or should I make my own?

Also, does anyone have a list of some topics to read? I looked at some of the stickies, but all the links were broken.

So I recently decided to snag as many emulators as I could, and although I found a PSP one, I couldn't get WotL to work on it 100%.

Long story short, I came here because of my love of FFT, the fact that I enjoy making sprites and the idea of inserting characters and unique story into the game appeals to me (I'm in first year animation in my college.)

So hey!
