Basically, you replace the traits of a weapon you want to replace (like, say, Mythril Knife) with the traits of a multiplayer weapon. Same for Shields, Armor, and Accessories. It's just a bunch of copy/paste and some data entry. Took me a few hours to do.

Ah, so you cannot overwrite items of different categories then.  Whelp guess its time to find the weapons/armor I use the least.

Actually, the multiplayer items can't be placed in the ENTD at all. Even Balthier's Ras Algethi gun doesn't display properly in the Patcher. I just replaced existing, rarely used/non-relevant items with the Multiplayer items and forced those into the ENTDs. :)

Any instructions for that or do I figure it out myself?

I know this question has been asked a billion times before, but it seems I can't get a clear answer from the search function.

I know you HAVE to replace other items if you want to use multiplayer ones but HOW? As far as I know you can't put them in shops, can't force guest characters to have them, can't put them as hidden treasure, can't make them stealable with fttpatcher  ect ect because of the extra byte

So that leaves hex editing It seems.  Or maybe it's just kept a secret because eternal was able to do it in his hack(and 1.3 I think)  Does anyone know how? Does it matter What item I overwrite(like eye drops or something) or does it have to be in the same category.  I want to make them steal able from the special wotl encounters among other things.  Thanks.

if there's anything iOS it's a save editor and nothing else.
No adding, you can only replace. I think you might be putting too many expectations in RAD for that, because yes it allows to change to more jobs, but you can't learn abilities, set them requirements or anything. It's just as if you used a gameshark code to change your job.

Exactly.  I want my generics to be holy knights and such.  While Getting the feeling of earning the jobs instead of blatant cheating.(what I want is not so blatant cheating :p)I don't like the fact that generics in srpgs pretty much always get the short end of the stick.  It removes customization in favor of character story which I personally dislike.

Oh darn.   That's a bummer.  I guess I just have to make better generic jobs in fft patcher, but they overwrite the original...

Has anyone done anything with the iOS version or is that even farther behind? Can you add the psp exclusive weapons without getting rid of original ones now?

Yes, AFAIK, RAD and ALMA are both in that boat.

Meaning RAD works with the psx > psp conversion? Well then I'm set!  No more switching out generics for special characters for me!

Yes, they will, however some ASM hacks have issues that cause them to not function on actual consoles.

Is RAD one of these?  That's my most important one because I hate the way srpgs make special characters better than ones I make myself.

And then convert the ISO with pops to a psp classic so I can put it on my psp, will the ASM hacks still be there? Specifically the job wheel ASM hack?

Edit:psx version.  iPad spellcheck >.>
