Some sprites for a pencil/paper RPG I'm in

Here are a couple of sprites I have done for a game that me and my friends are running pencil and paper style.  I'm actually looking at building a 3d map and bringing these guys into flash to see if I can simulate the basic movement engine within FFT.  If anyone has any advice on this, I welcome any aid.

Without further ado, the sprites:

I wanted to describe the sprites underneath, but couldn't figure out how in the same post.  Please delete this second post if it is a nuisance.

The top one is Starchild, the heavy metal bard.  Now that I look at him again, I need to cut off his sleeves.

Second is Sarda, the berserker.  Blatant Elmdore ripoff, with whiter hair and bigger shoulder pads.

Third is Gabrielle, our elemental swordswoman.  She is actually made from parts of 4 different female characters.

Fourth is Contessa, the archer.  Yup, dancers look good with capes imo.

Finally, Asa, the fighter.  Looking now, I realize that I could build a Terry Bogart (Fatal Fury) pretty easily in here.

I like Gabrielle and Asa, they look slightly more 'modern' than some of the sprites in FFT.

As for stimulating the movements in flash, i'm not sure how well you could tell flash to load certain sprites for certain actions, but i'm sure you could since it might be similar to dragon fable in a sense and i think tht was made in flash and it loads different animations and sprites, I'll look up on a way to go about doing that since I'm interested in seeing this completed.

and to take a guess at Gabrielle.... Reis for the chest/arms, thief for the trousers, knight for the boots and i think i recognize the hair, but i can't place my finger on it, was I at all close? lol

I like Gabrielle (though the hair seems too bright) & Contessa, myself. Not so hot about the others. Gabrielle uses Agrias' hair, by the way.

You guys are correct on two, Reis for the upper body and Agrias' hair.  The other two parts are the breastplate from a Dragoon and Valframa's lower body.  I always thought the thief skirt looked like a big red diaper.

As of right now, I'm looking to use flash as a battle formation screen, starting with the ability to rotate the map and zoom in and out.  Eventually, I'd like to add idle animations and movement to the characters.  Then I'll tackle attacks and skills.

I guess shorts makes more sense; kind of takes the sex appeal away from the class.

Speaking of sexy, here is my test for my new self-image sprite that goes with my avatar.

Wow nice.
Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, bringing torment and pain to others. Oh damned soul wallowing in your sin, perhaps...it is time to die

Oh, ow, wasn't expecting that.  Laughed a bit harder than I was quite ready for.  I always thought it had to be difficult for Lancers to jump so high when they were wearing all that heavy armor, but if that guy can do it then I guess physics don't really apply.

A dragoon jumping from the top of Zeltenia Church deals no more damage than one that started on the street.  Definitely no regard for physics with this class.

That's why it's the best class.  Love the sprites, by the way (to be on topic!).
