Two-by-Two Double Trouble Tourney
Each player enters a pair of two units. The units can be any class(es), but are subject to a no-duplicates rule on skills known and equipment as well as the standard 3000 jp limit.
At the start of the tournament, after each player submits their pair of units, the unit pairs are randomly (and blindly) assigned to each other to create full teams of four units. The no-dupe rule only applies to the initial pairs of units, so the resultant combined teams will therefore have the standard limit of two instances of a given item/skill.
-Each team will have a 'first' and 'second' player, randomly determined. The 'first' player's color palette will be used and their units will take up the first two slots within the team.
The tournament will be round robin. We have 6 teams of four, which means 15 rounds. Map order will be Medium, Large, Small. I think this is the most reasonable because 'small' maps are actually quite uncommon in vanilla FFT and so make more sense as the 'sudden-death' tiebreaker.
