Final Fantasy Hacktics

And I need some feedback.

I'm giving Miluda a unique sprite, one that matches her portrait. I know there's one on this site already, but I'm going a different direction with mine.

I'm basing her off of the generic knight, because well, that's what she was in the original game. The goal is that were someone knowledgeable in FFT to see the sprite, but not the portrait, they'd be able to recognize her as Miluda.


Anywho, need your opinion. Right now, on her hair.


A) Most of her hair in back?


B) More in front?


C) They both suck and I should do something different.

Whole thing's a WIP, of course. I plan to change the design on the back of the cape, and of course the hair, and call it "done" except tweaking. Opinions welcome.

Those are some huge... tracks of land.

I can't seem to find the text for skillset descriptions. I found the one for job descriptions, but not skillset. Can they be edited with this tool?

EDIT: Also, it doesn't seem to change in-battle skillset names. Do these needs to be hex edited as well?

Simply incredible. Squeenix should've hired you to do the sprites for War of the Lions. Yours don't style clash with the originals.

WoW, Earthbound 0 on and off, FFT (mostly for hacking purposes), trying to get into Vagrant Story, and SMW (again for hacking purposes).

I have vista and FFTastic works fine for me. What error's it giving you?

I think that both numbers at the end and the japanese-ish suffixes are silly, with the suffixes slightly worse because they're nonsensical without prior knowledge.

I'd stick with the original numbers for clarity and ease. But if someone wanted to "improve" the names I'd say they should trash both and come up with synonyms for each rank. Example:
Ice = Frost
Ice 2 = Ice
Ice 3 = Blizzard
Ice 4 = Deep Freeze
Ice 5 = Absolute 0.

You'd have clarity with implied strengths within the names. You wouldn't have the ridiculous sounding numbers, or the nonsensical suffixes.

But that's just my opinion.
