maybe we could have a place on the site where people can upload save files for different patches.

Does ffhacktics allow the various save game and save state formats?

Honestly I'm not sure what this could be used for...
Playing with a team you're not familiar with is already a lot of trouble.
If you take a save, you're skipping the gameplay of that patch; so why?

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

Ppl may lose they're save files, or they may just want to try some battle (1.3 DD is a good example)
