Question regarding random enemy equipment...

Hello there, I was just wondering...

In the "Item" tab on the FFTPatcher there's an option you can check or uncheck named "rare" for each item.
So far I've been unable to pinpoint the use of this option, but I'm thinking it controls whether or not the enemies can equip this item when they're gear is set to "random"...can anyone confirm this for me?

Yes, the use was unknown long ago, but melonhead never renamed it, so I can understand it's confusing.

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)
