Buliwyf looks at the comings and going in the hangar, suspended in a web-harness from the upper arm of his Zaku.  "Ah, Lucille...  I sure do miss you, girl."  He gets to work stripping the plating off of the zakus lower arm and installing some new components.  "Stupid paperwork, you shoulda been here already.  Wonder who I have to bribe to make it happen..."  He swings down out of the web-harness and hops into a mechanical lifter/welder.  "Guess this thing will have to do for now."

Shopping list
1) Worker Zaku Forearm Crane- left forearm: 40 points
2) Increased Plating 1: 30 points
3) Shoulder Shield- replacing the default shoulder spike: 30 points

total cost: 100
Lyra or Setch can have the old spike part if they want it.

Buliwyf moves down and presses his back against a mesa wall, reloading his shotgun.  He waits, alert for any incoming attacks that can be blasted out of the air.

1) reload shotgun
2-5) missile defense if anything targets me.
103
Buliwyf moves his mech quickly out around the mesa, swinging south and sprinting east (1) before blasting a (hopefully) surprised Fanfan with his shotgun (2).  He then fires his boosters and hurls to the north, landing behind a tank. (3)  He grabs the rear of the tank and lifts it out of the sand before flinging it at the nearby Zaku. (4-5)

1) Move to I8.
2) Shoot Fanfan 6
3) Boostjump to K4
4) grab the tank
5) smash it into Zaku 3
104
Buliwyf weighs options and comes to his decision in the blink of an eye.  "Alright, those of you with range sweep the sand.  I'm headed north."  His Zaku sprints toward the mesas, shotgun belching flame.  Quickly taking cover against the stone, he raises his shotgun and sweeps in front of him, preparing a killzone.

1) move to D7
2) open fire on fanfan 5
3) another shot on tank 17
4-5) ready actions to shoot the first two things that walk into my range.

<Asmo> ignore the anime girl
<Asmo> dont know whats up with that
<dunnos2> already naked.
106
Buliwyf frowns.  And then pushes his mech forward again, shotgun belching destruction as he heads northeast for cover.  "I don't suppose I can get someone to handle these Fanfans, I'd greatly appreciate it."

1-2) Move northeast to C7
3-5) along the way tanks 14, 13, and 17 can all eat pointblank shotgun blasts.
107
Buliwyf is quick to join the others outside the hangar.  He takes a quick glance at the enemies and grunts.  Opening the teams comm channel, he places his hands lightly on the controls.  "Not nearly as much cover this time out.  Everybody watch your asses, I'll try and buy us some room to maneuver.  Need someone on that northwest Fanfan, please."  The old man slams his Zaku into motion, sprinting to the northwest in a zig-zagging pattern as he draws his shotgun. (1-2)  "Time to take the gloves off."  His mech pounds across the sand before stomping sharply down on the front of a tank and flipping it up as cover. (3)  His shotgun emerges around the side of his improvised shield to pump two rounds into the machine-gun wielding Zaku ahead.

1-2) move to A16
3) flip tank 4 up on its nose, burying the barrel in the sand and turning it into improvised cover.
4-5) Zaku 1 eats a pair of shotgun blasts.
108
Buliwyf shrugs at Vie.  "Picked it up as a hobby a long time ago, mostly.  Turned out to be a lot handier than I expected, so I stuck with it.  Got pretty good, I guess."  He shovels a few more bites into his mouth and sits back  "I guess this... stuff beats MREs, but it's a pretty tough call."
109
Buliwyf picks up his tray and moves to the table where all the action is.  "Ah, y'all sound familiar.  Buliwyf.  Pleased to meet you."
110
Buliwyf makes his way to the cafeteria after a shower of his own, showing up in some well-worn jeans and a button-down black shirt with the sleeves rolled up.  He gets a generous spoonful of that vaguely meat-related paste and drops it over a couple of pieces of toast before looking at the drinks.  "Great...  No beer.  I already miss my old job."  He settles for a bottle of water before dropping into a chair.  He looks the room over as he takes a bite of dinner and chews.  He'll figure out who else is in his unit after hearing them talk, assuming they don't recognize him the same way.
111
Buliwyf keeps his foot on the downed mech, letting one hand swing down to punch its booster nozzles. (1)  His clicks his comm on to talk to the pilot of the other robot  "You get an 'A' for effort, but you dont have the brains got gave a goat.  Stay down and you'll walk out of here alive.  So much as twitch that Heat Hawk at me and I'll feed it to you warm end first.  This aint personal, dont go making it that way."  he clicks the comm over to his own squadmates.  "You folks have a look, I'm gonna see if this pilot fees like being a hero." (2-5)

1) Disable the downed Zaku's boosters.
2-5) If it stays down, awesome, if not I mangle its other arm.

<Efrate> ever been in a long term relationship, its something you learn
<Eternal248> To be fair, Jupi, the only thing I remember was your hair and your bedcovers. =x
<Eternal248> It was a while ago, afterall.
113
Buliwyf grunts as he strains against the enemy Zaku.  "Boy you have done gone and put yourself in a bad position..."  His right elbow circles inside the grapple before lashing out at the joints of the arm grabbing his face at the same time he takes half a step back to pull the Zaku off-balance. (1)  He keeps his grip firmly on the wrist holding the Heat Hawk as he twists at the waist, pulling the enemy even further off-balance and hurling it face-down into the sand. (2)  "Case in point..."  His hands twist and push at the hand of the downed Zaku, bringing tremendous power and leverage to bear on the delicate servos and actuators of the wrist (3) before he takes a step, planting his foot on the back of the mech and violently wrenching the trapped arm counter to planned rotation (4).  He notices the tank coming in from the north and the two FanFans to the southwest and grimaces, getting ready to move.  (5)

1-4) Mech-judo should do a pretty fair job of taking that Zaku out of the fight.
5) Getting ready to dodge out of the way of an incoming attack from either the tank or a FanFan.
114
Buliwyf shakes his head as Relia vanishes into the desert, and then eases the throttles forward on his Zaku (1-2).  He thumbs the comm switch, "Anybody that thinks newer is better is welcome to come arm-wrestle when we're done here." and bursts out of the shelter of the wing to unload a pair of shotgun blasts into a tank (3-4).  Using the cloud of smoke from the bazooka rounds and explosions as cover, he quickly slips back behind the wing and begins moving to flank. (5)

1-2) Moving to G12
3-4) Giving tank 1 a pair of shotgun blasts
5) moving back around the wing again and heading to D10 under the wing.
115
Buliwyfs hand rocks back and then whips forward again, the practiced ease of the life-time fisherman casting his lure.  Except in this case the lure is a mass of torn and crumpled metal that once was a Saberfish wing, and the target is a Fly Manta.  "Tanks to the west, aye.  You read my mind."  Again his mech takes a quick series of pounding steps before the boosters roar to life and hurl him into the air.  By the time he lands again, his shotgun is in his hands, and he blasts both tanks at point-blank range.

1) Throw my improvised axe at Fly Manta 2.
2) Move to the west.
3) Booster Jump to D3
4-5) Tanks 6 and 7 each get a point-blank shotgun blast, and that should finish me up with my back once more against a mesa.
116
Buliwyf takes a quick series of heavy steps along the dunes before the boosters on his back fire with a thunderous roar, hurling him up and over the boulders and at a Saberfish. (1,2)  "This'll do."  His powerful hands clamp down on the wing of the delicate plane mid-air, (3) turning it into an improvised axe as he cuts his boosters and drops from the air to slam the torn-off wing into the turret of the tank. (4)  He takes a step back from the carnage and places his back against the boulder for cover. (5)

1) Move along the dunes heading NE
2) Booster Jump towards M1
3) Attack Saberfish 2 while booster'd, hopefully losing a wing will give it hell on its turn.
4) Attack Tank 1 on landing, hoping the wing-axe will bend the gunbarrels
5) Place back to boulder in M2 for better tactical cover, which puts the right shoulder armor towards the tank.
117
Buliwyf waits until the bazooka rounds from May have whistled past before ramming his throttle forward, pounding his mech across the sand on a direct course for tank 1. (1-3)  "Hmph.  These things aint even half the size of a Cygnus high-atmosphere gas-minnow." The Heat Hawk slaps into his hand, blade already giving off a sinister glow of plasma arcs. (4)  "Probably not half as tough either."  His right foot leads out in a kick, blasting up an obscuring cloud of sand between him and the rest of the tanks as he circles around to avoid the machinegun fire from Vie. (5)

1-3) rushing across the sand to close with tank 1, hoping to end in the square to the Northwest of it.
4) Drawing the Heat Hawk for defensive maneuvers.
5) Generating a small cloud of sand to give partial cover, should help against getting shot since radar isn't particularly helpful.

((that's right, not attacking yet.  turn 1: Positioning.  Turn 2: Merciless destruction. >_>

-Name: Buliwyf Herger
-Gender: Male
-Age: 62
-Birth Place: Side 6
-Appearance / Clothing: Casual shirts, battered and faded jeans, and heavy work boots when he's off-duty.  Grease-spotted reinforced pilot suit with pressure seals when he's working.
-History / Background: The quintessential interplanetary blue-collar worker.  Formerly an industrial megafisherman by trade, Herger was recruited by Zeon for his familiarity with giant robot operation and maintenance.  He's got no real vested stake in one army winning over the other, and he is moderately disgusted with both sides for some of their more unsavory tactics.  But Zeon is the ones paying his bills right now, so they get his expertise.
-Combat Style: Thanks to his previous profession, Herger has no problem getting into close combat and wrestling things into submission that are six, seven times his size.  Very much a short/proximal specialist, he tends to grapple and wear down his targets through punishing counterstrikes and superior endurance.
