Problem Applying Patch

Hi there,

Came back to hacktics for the first time in quite a while, and thought Celdia patch sounded fun and wanted to give it a try.  But I'm having some trouble applying it correctly (and I've tried with 1.3 and it doesn't come out perfectly either, so I think it may be how I'm applying it).

I can play the game, but the only sprites to show up are Ramza and Delita, for every other character I just see a shadow on the square they are standing.  All abilities seem to work just fine, and character art for the new sprites shows up in the formation screen but not in battle.

I got a fresh ISO to try patching, but the same problem.  So I don't think that's the problem, but I could take the file from my real copy of FFT if you guys think the ISO may be the problem here.

I wonder if it has to do with how I'm applying the patch.  When in PPFOMatic I pick my two files, but when I hit Apply it just thinks indefinitely and when I force the program to close it gives me what I've described.

Any thoughts are appreciated, and Celdia even without being able to see anyone I like the feel of the patch through the first few battles, so great work and thanks!

Are you trying to patch the original PSone ISO or are you trying to patch the PSP ISO?  I tried patching a PS1 patch to the PSP iso once and it worked to an extent but yeah, thats all I can think of off the top of my head.  Good luck. :)

CCP can take a very long time to patch because a large amount of data is changed.  You're getting the result you're getting because you're force-closing PPF-O-Matic before the patching process is complete, resulting in a half-patched ISO.

This issue has come up several times. Try downloading a new copy of ppfomatic from a different source.
