Final Fantasy Hacktics

Sincerely, ive been trying to ''hack'' since some time, but i always run in some problems. I think things should be more clear, like making a very precise tutorial with all steps, examples and such.

I mean, i currently have 4 folders related to fft hacking, and its pretty much : Emulator, data, data, data, and ive got no idea how to implement back and such.

I mean, i can't post a topic for each of my questions, and i would like teamviewer support from someone that could help me out, or even msn support, whatever.

I am willing to write a bit of the tutorial myself...once i get the hang of it.

Suggesting particuly :
- How do i play FFT ?
  - Download a image, we won't tell you how to get it because its     illegal if you don't own the Cd
  - Or copy it from your Playstation 1. (i hear that... no idea how)
  - Where and how do i set up my emulator ?

- How do i edit sprites?
 - How to see sprites.
 - How to get the .bmp of sprites and change it (I can't find how to do it on this site)
 - Complete example with a basic sprites (ex turn Olivela hair dark) in steps. (I know there is a how to, but there is not example)

- How do i edit events ?
 - Discovery on events/list of things known.
 - How to implement back the changes ?
 - Complete example by changing a name or so in the first scene.

- What is Hex ?
 
You know, very precise and all that stuff, because im completly lost right now, i have no idea where to put back Test.evt once i made my changes.... and im sure many people stop because of that.


So maintly, it would be fun to have either a mega tutorial, or people helping out with stuff like teamviewer or screenshare.

Im sorry with the horrible noobnest this might emanate, but i need to :

Get out Test.evt
Start the decompiler
Make the changes in the file, save
Start the compiler

Then where do i put back Test.evt ?

(this might be usefull for other noobs, so il post it here)

In the time, my father brought us to a professional hacker...

I choosed Croc and Final fantasy tactic because they looked cool.

We got home with a hacked ps1 and Super-powerfull (for the time) pc.

Then i bought the disk 3 years back because we had lost the other one.

Goltana Knight: Haha, we are here to take the princess, even such you overpower us with 2 holy knights, Goltana sent 5 of his weakest mans to take the princess. Wait a minute...

[The black knight and the two squires comes out to help Agrias
and the others.]

Gafgarion: Fool! Only idiots attack head on withouth planning that a old friend of a soldier in this batlle will capture the princess aftherwards !

[Agrias steps forward.]

Agrias: Leave this to us, they are fucking weak!

Gafgarion: Nah, i want to see their blood, BLOOD ! MUAHAHA

Agrias: You sick foul.

Gafgarion: RAMZA, RAD, LETS SLAUGHTER THEM

[Gafarion rapes the enemy with Blood river attack]

Ovelia: Hey, he's touching my breast !

[Agrias looks at the monastery.]

Agrias: Lol.

[Agrias runs inside to save the princess. A knight takes the
princess through the back door of the monastery.]

Knight: Man, i could just kill you then gve you a phenix down, why din't i think of that sooner ?

Ovelia: Please rape me !

Knight: Ew.

[The knight punches the princess on the stomach and puts her
on his chocobo. Agrias comes out.]

Agrias: Shit, why dont i statis him !

Knight: Don't blame me. Blame Canada.

[The knight takes off with the princess. Agrias runs after the
knight, realizing she cannot keep up, she falls down on her
knees.]

Agrias: Damn you, canada!

[Ramza sees the knight.]

Ramza: Meh, its my old friend.

Is there anyway to skip the intro when i make changes ?

I tried to make simple change to see if i understood correctly.
I tried changing my normal equipement to have incredible stats, loaded a game, and it din't work. I had to create a new game for the effects to work.
Its very long, a new game.... can i skip the intro / make it from saved files ?

So, hi, hacking community.

I starting to hack one of my favorite game : Super mario world, but then i asked myself if it was possible to hack Final fantasy tactic, THE game i really wanted to edit. I already got my ideas for a hack, but il wait a bit until i can find my way in hacking it (still need the primary thing...you know, the illegal one) and beacause of school and such.

As a hacker, im not into computer, but i got great ideas, and when i discover something, its really big and because i was playing with the folders (i plan to play with the maps bytes : i really want to try and recreate a flat plain, i think its not been done yet, true ?)

Anyway, im really happy to have found this community, and well, see ya all.
