I am a total Newb (bet you guys are sick of hearing that right?) but I wouldn't imagine it would be too difficult to include in the next update.  Since patcher and a GS do basically the same thing if I am understanding it at all (good chance I'm not) just GS is manually altering hex by coding it differently, whereas patcher modifies it in a more user friendly way, I wouldn't imagine it would be too difficult.  I hate going through the make a code load the emulator then load the ISO, a streamlined process would be nice.

Random thought.  Could you go into the ENTD tab in patcher and find a specific character you want to alter on your rooster, then save, then delete it and if it is the actual character (by swapping from whatever other ENTD section or whatnot) would it still stick?  I know a lot of glitches will stay with a saved file even after dirty patching unless you start a new game so there is a chance it would work.

Straight from the Aerostar Gameshark Faq, edited slightly to put it all together in one piece.  This works fine for me, just make Ramza whatever at the start, I did after the game had been going for a bit so I dunno if it works before you start a new game, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

I tired that, but it doesn't do anything, it stays what you choose at the beginning.  I got it working thanks to aerostar's gameshark faq on gamefaqs, thanks for the heads up phil.  Like I said I am just starting to play around with pacther, let alone shishi, orgasM, or tactext, so I apologize if I bother too many people... I do know how to use the search function though, I guess thats a plus.  §:-)

Is there any way to use patcher to edit zodiac?  I haven't been able to find anything on it, and wanna try a serpentarius SSCC but I need to find a way to get the correct zodiac.  I tried searching and found nothing, any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

For Sparta, you should start your two man team in a space only reachable by the front, an echo of the Battle of Thermopylae.  Also, make a lone path to get around behind them as well, but only for one unit.  Bonus is you have a zodiac beast of some sort (impure king?) be the first to get around the back.  Or ditch the movie nods and keep it more historical.

Help! / PSP debug help

Okay I have a question.  Is there any way to take the War of the Lions .cso file, convert to iso., then run on epsxe and basically play the PSP version using epsxe?   And if so, would the normal FFT world debug codes and memory card editors still enable me to do it all?  I was planning on running a WotL auto-battle tournament for some buddies, and I have not much of any clue.  I have FF masters how to thread for how to do it with vanilla, but I St. Ajora knows if I can make it work as I would like too.  

I imagine I could just use FFT:C for abilities names and whatnot and ban the PSP exclusive stuff, ll but I'd rather stay true to form if possible.  Could I use all those same things in FFMasters thread on a patched with FFT:C iso without issues or would problems arise.  

Oh BTW I know I can convert cso to iso but most the utilities I googled didn't output a direct ISO file but a .bin file, and that won't play in epsxe.  I just get a blank screen.

I know nothing about hacking, but I'm an FFIV whore so the idea is good the specifics are up to you.  I also may bounce between FFT and FFT:WotL names as well

Just FYI Philsov, Camo does seem to be exploitable.  Whenever I do it regardless of what else an enemy can do, reviving a downed unit, killing someone, knocking someone into critical, they always go for the Camo person if they are in range.  Compat doesn't seem to matter much since with both good/neut and bad comp it seems to happen.  Havne't tried it with best yet but I'd imagine that it would happen as well.  It could just be the AI being weird RNGs are odd with me.   After over 1000s of ninjas (seriously) in war of the lions on next to last floor on Midlights deep I still cannot find one/get one to throw rare katanas even at the levels where they are superior to all other thrown weapons and at max HP on all my units.  Seems awfully busted unless I am just getting weird AI stuff, which is very possible.

When I can tear myself away from all 8 or so files accross various systems/hacks/SSCC challenges/etc I play some more.

Hey Kokojo, just gotta say I love your work.  I've tried out a ton of various hacks of FFT and yours is one of if not THE best I've played.  I love the complete revamp of basically everything, new story the whole shebang.  I want to finish ch. 1 but I am falling over asleep.  Just so you know it is very much appreciated and I like the fact that its basically an entirely new game just using a premade engine that is fantastic and amazing difficult to pull off, I cannot wait until you're pumped about it again and continuing work on it.  

I love the cocaine as an accessory.  The quote is fantastic as well.  Looking at the sheet I see Voldemort's growth and I really hope to eventually run into him.  I wanna make him blugdeo'd for hammer as payback for certain portions of 1.3

Noticed a few more minor issues.  

In Dorter Story Battle, there is no abilites listed for the Black Mages Primary on one, and no primary or secondary ability listed for the other.  Support and Move are there though.

Was fighting in the woods and an Ahriman landed in a puddle even though they cannot enter water?  The little one square water area on the right side of the map as your characters face for the story battle.  Was this a change from 1.3 because I never remember it happening in there either.

Just started this today and noticed a few minor bugs I haven't seen posted yet.

If a unit is poisoned and you hit select on the status effect part of the status screen (right after you open status screen then press circle) it says poison is curable by antidote, and since antidotes don't exist...

Also a few AI questions there may be some slight issue but idk what you altered as far as AI goes.  Opening battle at monastery, Ramza knocks leader knight to 1 HP then moves away a bit.   Alicia (or Lavan?) is one step away and knights right side and front are open and accessible to have her attack and deal the death blow to him.  Instead she walks away and uses a high ether on Gaff.  I thought killing enemies was priority 1 for the AI?  

Similar situation battle in Gariland.  Ramza took a crit and some poison damage, was in critical state, I removed poison, and waited.  Female squire on roof has throw stone, and instead of throwing stone at Ramza, attacks my Knight.

Another thing, Mandalia plains.  Random squire named Junk.  Awesome.  Waiting for a bastard poetry now ;-p.  My archer uses camouflage, and even though she is at full HP, last remaining squire passes up a charging Ramza and pursues her to throw a rock at her.  (Love the quote BTW).   It connects for small damage, transparent is off.  Recast it, and same thing.  Do the enemies now prioritize attacking transparent units?  If so that makes a lot of things very easy to break.
