I was successful in changing the effects of Nameless song to Nameless dance and instead of inflicting positive status effects it inflicts negative ones on enemies.  When it comes to magic song or angel song though it won't work?
I changed all the bard abilities on the FFTpatcher to the dancer abilities, checks and number, yet it's not working.
When i first switched nameless song with nameless dance (the effect i want to keep as the bard effects) it didn't work.
so i went back and changed 1D hit_(x)% NS back to 1C hit_(x)% NS and it worked perfectly! but doing that same thing to the skills that were not switching proved unsuccessful...
any help appreciated.

Also if i am posting too much or starting too many new topics  just let me know!

1) A lot of abilities are hardcoded -- like there's no (easy) way to make Magic Song be -MA or Disillusion +MA.

2) Why are you making it more complicated than it needs to be?  If you want dance effects, just give said dances to the sing skillset.
Just another rebel plotting rebellion.

ok got it.

No i know i could just do that but i thought that maybe there was something i was missing.  I was hoping to learn why it wasn't working.  I have already actually done what you suggested just wanted to see if i was missing something.

Had the same problem with the sword abilites of Holy, Divine and Dark Knight, it is plain and simple that most abilites are hard coded, and you cant really tamper with them.
There ain't no gettin' offa this train we on!
