The Arch mage is nasty little caster.
The mechanic behind this is to hit multiple times with MA based spells.
Each attack would do a Status, so you have multiple 25% chances to do a status :D

All Spells use rafa's truth formula.
This class seems interesting but you already have Shamanist as Status-inducing unit... I'd keep just one.
Maybe casting different spells instead of status inducing, but still using Rafa's formula as you said.
Let it cast double elemental spells, a la Double Fire, Double Bolt, Double Cure etc..
Or maybe something like Multi fire, Multi Bolt... and it'd work like this: First spell is 100% accurate, next one is 75%, if that one hits then a next one with 50% accuracy is executed, if that one hits then one with 30%, then 15% and that's it. But with AOE 0 (only 1 target)..
Originaly, i had dbl fire, bolt and ice. it worked well but wasnt that interesting.
Shaman cures status, not inflicts them. save for his despair move, which will either inflict good or bad status.
Suprise Cast - confusion
Arrow of love - charm
Burden - Slow
Surprise Cast and Burden are excellent names.
If it can be helped, id like to keep Arrow-Related skills to the Ballista.

Id like to keep archmage into random hits though... but i think i will incorperate them somehow into the game... i do like the names.
