Everyone else seems to be making these type of topics, so i thought...why not?

Honestly, i thought this was an interesting one, considering i dont see many black people in metal bands(killswitch engage has 1, thats all i can think of) much less a Jamaican.

The band is called Skindred. they can be found here http://www.myspace.com/skindred
They are touring in what appears to be only the U.K. unfortunately. But they really do have an interesting sound.
The song Nobody is my new profile song.(it really gets interesting after 20 seconds on. the random screams kinda surprised me a bit before that point)

In Living Color, if you count them as metal, and Tom Morello is half black.

I like the music a lot, thanks for sharing, :)

I thought the Skindred were well known.  It's strange how one region's well known is another's hidden jewel.

Yea their well known around here too.
Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, bringing torment and pain to others. Oh damned soul wallowing in your sin, perhaps...it is time to die

That is pretty interesting that we have different prospective. Though I am so out of touch with the music scene right now.

Jesus, I remember Skindred from high school.  Aren't they Nu Metal?  Or is it rap metal?

Meh. I've been getting into some new bands lately, and I just don't think Skindred has what it takes to climb to the top of my must-have list. That sort of metal is good for high school nostalgia, I'd say.

In my opinion, the best NEW talent these days is a little group of gentlemen from Montana:

Martriden - The Blank Eye Stare

These guys are going places.
Final Fantasy Tactics - Thief SSCC:
