probably.

also paint gets rid of the first black that is supposed to be there(for me in photoshop it is) watch my video to see what im talking about.

Photoshop can allow you to save it in 8 byte(what it needs to be) or 16byte..or even 4 byte for the japanese formation portraits...

Regardless, paint doesnt like me, and always deletes a color, then adds two black pallets making my total 17...

i just had the same problem with my arc mage sprite im making.. it kept crashing, and when i changed the color limit, it appears as a giant red x... want ot send me the origonal sprite? if your using photoshop, i might know whats wrong, and if your using paint, i definatly know whats wrong.

I, personally, prefer this look... there are so few heavily armored-looking sprites in the game.. this is a nice addition :)

Here you guys go, proof of my Restructured Unit.BIN... as you can see it looks the same till after agrias, where i added 2 new sprites. and then after calculator, where i added 2 more, and the rest have yet to be added...

when i figure out how to make jobs link to these, i will post a tutorial in my guides section :)[/quote]

Whats wrong with the miang sprite, zozma? shishi says it appears perfectly fine... i one see one frame in particule that looks like her lower body is ot far to the right.... the rest looks pretty flowing :)

Edit: Type 1 looks good at least, type to it looks like the arms are messed up... if you made it for type 2, type one works xD

I use photoshop, cause it edits color pallets like extremely quick...3 clicks and i have a new color :P... ive never used snespal

If worst comes to worst i can do it for you... i see no harm in it seeing as how neither of us really get snespal >.>

The problem:

your color limit.

Your very first color is a grey, it should be a black. this should never change
so move all the colors starting fomr the left, over one spot.

Here is how it works. The pallete is in lines of 17. The ACTUAL colors dont start until there is a color besides 0 0 0 (pure black) when you put that grey there, you made it load fomr that spot, and it loaded all 17 colors. including the very last color, which is your black.

Ima aware firion had some problems, i think the origonal portrait had this issue and i never fixed it. i apologize for that.(it was the japanese guy who made these that did it)

Increase Unit.BIN size by changing its structure.

This does not allow for NEW jobs entirely, as of yet anyways, until we find what links sprites to that job at least. What you can do is add lucavi to the formation screen, or alot more unique units using the sprites that would never appear in the formation screen no matter what you did without replacing something. This makes it bigger with free spaces so you dont have to overwrite anything

I got frustrated at my Demon Knights colors, so im working on my final "MA Based" class for my patch... heres what he looks like so far

Edit: i just realzed he has some major lighting issues when compared to the sprite next to it... ill fix those, dont worry

Yea... Bad op on my part with my first battery try... metal hit something it shouldnt have nad fried something that keeps the charge inside it.... so it could only hold 1% battery power instead of 86%max( i had it fora long time >.>... it was 86% of new batteries, evne though it siad 100%)
