well hmmm im wondering what ill end up calling this "patch" of mine, it most certainly isnt going te totally revolve around Teta. but she played a much bigger role by taking algus' spot for sure.

Until I can get the hang of spriting and patching, I'm going to work on an Assassin job class taking heavily from Assassin's Creed.  My first sprite is Altair.  If possible, I'd like to program the job with skills from Celia and Lede with innate abilities First Strike, Equip Change, and Ignore Height.

I think that Altair is a perfect fit for the times and situations within FFT and a backstory that he is sent to take down the church of Glabados makes more sense than most "cameo" characters.

Looking good, keep up the good work. I might change the gold to a tan/brown color though. Or at least some of it.

It has something to do with the Cache itself, as he mentions that it was the Auracite that got him there in the first place. Perhaps it takes place somewhere in the early days of Revenant Wings, before Balthier joins your party.
We will build cities in a day, we will build towers to the heavens. We will be heroes.
This sleeping city doesn't know what's coming. She doesn't feel the heat.
Even when the darkness surrounds us, we shall light up the night.

I thought that Balthier had found the key to the Cache of Glabados by the tutorial battle in Rev. Wings and that he found that key in War of the Lions.  I'm just disappointed that Tactics Ivalice is the future so it is not possible for Balthier to hook up with Agrias and become his own grandfather.

"hey balthier this photo of your grandpa looks just like you"

"really?"

"yea look"

"oh yea thats me when i went to the past"

"O.O;"

rotation is juuuuust about done. Though I could use some feedback before I go on any further with the sheet.

question - should maximum used colors including transparency be 16 or 17 or 18? I know going past one of those will crash the game... It was fine aways back when I was on the first and second poses, but checking up in graphics gale reticently, looks like a color or two might have been added to the index... hmm

bitmap

(forgot to mention, I am concerned her hair is abit too washed out, wasn't a big deal on the front poses, until the ponytail....may have to fix that too...)

hmm, I may have to kick a color, I hope not... I could've sworn I was using 16 by the second pose. now I have 17... I'll have to refer to reference sprite palettes... I right now think it's 16 colors + 1 tone for transparency...

Yeah your shading/darker tone for the hair needs to be a bit darker at the very least so the hair doesn't look so washed out. Looking pretty good though. I personally use Photoshop to do my color limiting, i don't know if there are any other good programs for it.

well... it appears the ninja body would have totally been a better pick for my berserker than the monk... who woulda thought...? but the arms at least appear to be easier to convert into muscle...

i guess ill try a complete remake since i couldnt get past all the work i would have had to do on the arms before...
