Plans for new sprites, whats everyone working on?

Lenna was the only one with the orange, I'm going to use the others for the male version.

they do look pretty close to that dont they :P

you know, i had Lenna (reina?) mystic knight colors in mind when i  created the custom sprite for Alicia

Hmm.. Yeah, I can see that. Not much yellow or green in there though. Probably a good thing. I think she came out great, regardless.

Anywho. I'm almost done with the Medic chick. I'll be working on the dude next. He'll use the other character's colors. do you have any suggestions for alternate palettes on these guys?

well id say just make sure they match with what team they are

common -have some green in there
hokuten -blue
nanten -purple or magenta? or white
galabados green/red( did i get this right or mix up the last two)

Damn. I was just at a site that listed the sprites by faction, but I don't remember which! =B

you know, i liked Lenna and Faris' beast tamer costumes

also, the 10yo girl, i know she has bugs some probably pretty bad, if someone sees some significant bugs (or test it out could you screenshot it for me? ive got alot of work so i haven't had a chance to test)

wow, due to my patch i had to go back and look at teta's sprite and there were some horrible errors from before shishi had a previewer...

ill re-submit it soon...

edit: anyone want to test out what i did to event chr for chapter 1?

requirements: Replace all occurance of algus with teta (only AFTER rescuing him from mandalia plains, and do not remove him from the first two scenes at igros where algus asks for more troops and where you first meet teta.

hatless theif is in rad's place

custom miluda is in place of generic miluda

a common squire is in place of algus at zeakden, and algus in place of teta (with an auto dead job pasted over)

only 2 bugs im (aware of) havent swapped teta's picture with algus at the igros kidnapping, and thers a line of pixels above delitas head in 2 frames at zeakden.

well give it a try but back up your eventchr file

Blansch's single frame looks quite good! I think Blansch and Bolmna will make a wonderful team to have around!

Yeah it does, but the most important thing to fix was the animation when walking. It was as if my sprite had a living octopus tentacle on its head.

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

dont worry i got rid of the octopus tentacle, lol for now im no sure ill make it move at all. but it was a simple fix.

Edit: Okay Blansch is almost done all the arms are done, the hands do have black around them, i might go back if it doesnt look right in battle... but the sprite is at about 90% completion

compare the front frame with the one i posted previously, made a few changes to the cloth below the belt.

I can definitely see the improvements on the side front view. Looking like a good design. Did you change Zozma's legs at all there?

Wow Cheetah... I must say, it seems as if you can't get Zozma off your mind lately... in addition to calling Blasnch (or Zodiac?) Zozma, you've also called Zalbag's voice actor Zozma.

LOL I knew I was fucking something up there. That is hilarious. While I do respect Zozma's work I think I just have issues remembering Zalbag's name. Thanks for the heads up to prevent myself from embarrassing myself further haha. Though I think I will manage to continue to do so in some way or another.

by the way has anyone thought of creating characters like Chris Lightfellow (suikoden 3) the sprites already practically done for ya if you use Miluda's body change the cloth to orange and change her head :P

well.. she doesn't have one of those suikoden 3 pretty much ended that its 3d
funny thing is, she could practically use agrias' body too for most of the sprite.

double post, but..

i found that male oracle arms are quite compatable with funeral. some of his animations looked weird and then i realized that they didn't finish his squinty eyes/eyebrows in his attacking/singing frames. the project is nearly done.
