Final Fantasy Hacktics

So I'm trying to make a sword attack that inflicts Poison. I have literally copy and paste the "Poison Nail" attack from the Red Panthers and no matter what the hit percentage is always 00%. Any suggestions?

What do you guys think about this? Master Sword and Hylian Shield.

Okay so in the CONFIG.ini for the decompiler/compiler i set Multi=1 as per Zodiac's request so it splits the events into one per text for easier managing. But how do I recombine them? I've tried to just make an event.txt and paste the events in that but that doesn't work. I can't find any topics on this so I assume everybody knows and I'm just stupid.

Finally! Finally got a new car. I drove a 1990 chevy corsica with no heater, no aircondintoner, no gas gaugem and no radio.

I bought a 1996 buick century with all that and more! Can't wait to get it registered and plated so I can drive this pimp car all around.

I want to know if there is an easy way for me to simply take the head of one sprite and put it on another. For some reason I can't seem to do it. All the colors get messed up when I copy the head to the new body.

made any progess on using hex editing to change text?

I know when I tried I couldn't get jack doody to change.

First off, sorry its taken me so long and he still isn't done, but it'll be cool if someone somewhere would like to help me with a portrait. I can't do them at all. Here's my most updated spritesheet. You can tell I still need some time but hopefully really soon, he'll be done and the Hero Of Time will be ready to rock in Ivalice, trying to save Ovelia instead of Zelda.

So I use the FFTacText editor to edit text, works fine, cept all skills are moved down like 10 spots in the formation screen. So I was like okay, I'll hex edit WORLD.BIN, cuz hex editing seems to not screw stuff up.

So I changed the jobs first and none of the jobs appeared changed, and before you asked I text searched(Wind Hex) for all instances of Squire and got all of em.

So why won't the hex edited WORLD.BIN change?

Okay this is an easy question, so I changed the skill Dash, and instead of them tackling the enemy I want them to swing the weapon, I checked the Weapon Strike box but I assume that isn't what its for.

Sorry but this is my first time editing skills, what are Vertical Tolerance, and the X and Y values? I noticed some X and Y in the formula boxes so I'm assuming they are the same ones right?

I'm not 100% sure if this is the right spot for this question but I'll ask it here anyways.

I got ePSXe and ran my edited copy of FFT on it. Works fine but the emulator is hella slow. I've had this emulator before but deleted it once I got a psp. I know I had it running Tales Of Destiny II perfect but now its struggling to run FFT. How should I have all the options and stuff set up?

This is my first ever attempt at making a sprite for anything.
Is this worth polishing up and finishing or should I try from scratch?

How's my PSP brethen?

I noticed when you select a job in the Job tab you see the stats growths and stuff. Around the bottom, theres M. Graphic, M. Palette, and M. Portrait.

I was assuming if you change these you could change the units to other colors. Like with the squire change it to 2 and you have the enemy squire color but it doesn't change. What are these?

Everytime I rip apart my ISO with UMDgen and re-insert the fftpack.bin back into it, FFTpatcher won't patch it. It says its Unreconziged as an WOTL ISO.
Do I always have to have a fresh ISO to patch with?

Im sure this has been asked somewhere, but im new to this forum so, i do I place new sprites into the game?
